We were hoping to catch a repeat of the Aurora, but only saw it very briefly shortly after sunset.

Only 20 minutes or so for this one.

The Aurora from Washington, from a star party in Duval.

It started a bit slow, but then we had this moment where it became incredibly bright & lit up the entire sky. At that moment everyone started cheering together, it was an amazing shared experience.

I will horrify my Seattle friends, who don't agree with this truth:
Coffee is just a vehicle for chocolate.

Melt into a small amount of milk:
1 teaspoon of Hershey's special dark cocoa.
8 Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 25 calories)
10 drops of pure peppermint extract
4 drops of sucralose
sprinkle salt

Add to latte.
