Also, I thought Neofetch just always interpreted River as Sway, but I’ve now seen people’s Neofetch screenshots saying River. How do I get Neofetch to tell I’m using River not Sway?
Could you maybe share the configuration files ? I was trying to emulate the box type of waybar for my river setup. I wanted to know how you got that border outline in that color.
I have the V10 which is the tray mount, ABS Variant of the Q10. I can actually say that it does not create that much of a difference, the two halves are spaced out yes, but not enough to a point where I can say it is comfortable, but that might lean more towards the fact that I might be more ape than human 🤣.
Same here, I’d say open source in my honest opinion, but I am no developer and since I am not a developer I don’t know the implications of making an app open source.
Up until now I was using an XBOX One controller with a clip for attaching your phone, which worked well but was quite unergonomic. I had to keep my wrists in an awkward angle, which made my fingers go numb after a short amount of time....
I wanted to get one because I wanted to try AMD Link on my phone. I saw the Gamesir X2 and it was expensive, I also saw the Razer Kishi (v1) which was on discount.
In the end, I just didn’t buy anything cause I spent my money on sweets 🤣🤣.
Hmm, I might as well watch out for it rather then spending it on chocolate covered nuts or M&Ms. The Kishi I saw was on sale on Amazon for 37 Euros I think.
I have nothing against Signal. I just don't have access to a phone number right now. I fully intend to use the Signal when I get a number. I know there is no silver bullet, no absolutes in the privacy world but I'm looking for any messengers that are generally considered to be private and secure on Android that I can try to...
It has been a huge ask to get my family to use Signal instead of Whatsapp, they are somewhat tech literate. To change again to Session would be even more of a big ask, So I'm not going to bother 🤣🤣
But as you said the availability of Apps on all platforms, the ease of setup and the solid encryption is what makes it good. Its a shame that not many people know about it, same for SimpleX chat.

Android 15 will run Bluetooth with your phone still turned off. (security.googleblog.com)
I saw this on infinity for Reddit earlier, I don’t know if there’s a workaround for this or not.
[River] WIP, just started. Pretty much just done the bar. (lemmy.ml)

Has anyone used the Keychron Q11? (www.keychron.com)
I’m looking for a more ergo keyboard and am looking at the Keychron Q10 (Alice) or Q11 (split), but I’m leaning more towards to the Q11:...
I wrote my own streaming app for Android TV. Do you want me to open source it?
I've been using my own streaming app for the past few years now....

Finally got me the Gamesir X2 Pro and I love it

What do you recommend as a good FOSS private and secure chat app on Android that isn't Signal?
