Blaming the voters is not a winning strategy, and it’s why people don’t view the Democrats as a credible opposition to rising fascism. In the current one, the election is decided by a system created by slaveowners 300 years ago, my vote has literally no impact on the outcome. - and literally every single one of my Democratic reps has been telling me how little my vote matters to them whenever I raise the issue of Palestine with them.

You realize that’s not better, right? You’re literally telling me that I should be voting for the Democrats implying ‘or else something bad will happen to you and the people like you’, and trying to say that I should personally feel guilt for not voting for one of two genocidal options.

Are you familiar with the turn of phrase ‘being lead down the garden path’? it’s when you’re being lead down an ultimately destructive path by steps which are all ‘the better option’. I know for a fact that things would be worse under Trump, but despite that the Democrats are headed down an incredibly dark path as is. Imagine how unreachable they will be on the next genocide with the only lesson learned from this one that they should always double down and count on people sticking their heads back in the trough.

2 learn how to read, the context “treating me charitably” was me quoting the person I was responding to, who said he was “treating me charitably” as in he was allegedly listening to what I was saying.

3 I don’t respond to threats, and if you’re threatening me that if I don’t vote for the genocide guy that all nonwhites are getting their rights taken away. That doesn’t distinguish you from them, nor provide me a reason to view your party as a credible opposition.

I don’t say this to in any way condone the genocide. I’m fully against the genocide. But, this is a complex issue with a lot of factors on both sides that can drive normally reasonable people to do bad things.

What an enormous piece of shit, between that and your intentional misgendering in the other comment, I was not surprised that you’re “against” genocide except when team blue does it.

Why else would you be jumping into my replies to misgender me and threaten me with what the reactionaries will do after Biden loses the election?

Our local elections only happen on off years to suppress turnout, and it’s overwhelmingly dominated by landlords and NIMBYs, trust me I’m involved, but that shit is absolutely calcified.
