~100 educators in Berlin have stated their support of protesting students: "We stand with our students & defend their right to peaceful protest.”

Germany’s Education Minister called the statement "staggering. Instead of taking a clear stand against hatred of Israel & Jews, university occupiers are being turned into the victims."

Police said 79 protestors were arrested & 80 criminal investigations initiated.

There are many (typically connected) uses for the pier & the hype around it. Fossil-fuel transfer is one. Israel's desire to transfer Gazans to refugee camps in the Middle east - never to return - is another. Yes, it's typically about money. Where fascists are concerned, it can be as much about power as well - power do what they've always wanted to do, eg, ethnic cleansing.

As you would know, most news sites won't mention such things.
