The Israeli government has cut off food, water, and fuel to 2 million people inside Gaza as part of its campaign to stamp out Hamas terrorism. Collective punishment is not only contrary to international law, it is inhumane and illogical. It is what my community once endured in World War II, all because of the actions of others who happened to share our ethnicity. Have we learned nothing? How will this possibly help deescalate the violence rather than radicalize many more? It is madness.

@georgetakei not only is it cruel and inhumane, but it plays right into Hamas’ hands. They don’t care about their citizens, only garnering more hate for Israel and more support for them.

The GOP-led House is in disarray and focused on all the wrong things. They couldn’t even get a bill to fund the Pentagon through a procedural vote because five of their far-right members revolted. And now Speaker McCarthy has pulled the continuing resolution to fund the government, one that was hammered out by the different factions this weekend, from any consideration because it also doesn’t have the votes.

Instead of doing their job and passing a budget—one they already agreed to earlier this year—they are preceding with an impeachment inquiry into President Biden because the Orange Guy insists he shouldn’t be the only impeached candidate up on stage. The hearing will now happen just two days before the government shuts down because they don’t have a budget in place.

This is the GOP in a nutshell, folks. Paralysis, political theatrics, and chaos.

So, will we be able to get the updated booster or not? I’ve been holding off giving boosters to kids thinking the updated one was around the corner. Now they might not be eligible? WTF?

Well I for one am going to find a way. I work in healthcare and my husband has cancer so it’s not an option to just not get it.
