I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds
I dont see how basic bdsm is a trend. Seems like every generation has a bdsm awakening at some point, everyone gets used to it, forgets about it or continues to play. Then after another 10-15 years it comes back.
I feel like it is hard to mess up the formula as long as it doesn’t get too “modern gaming”. I was playing my Dreamcast over Thanksgiving and really wanting a new Crazy Taxi and JSR so I was pumped at first when I saw this, but I’ve stopped believing in the hype for games a decade ago.
Hunky Dory is such an incredible album. There isn’t a bad song on it. I’ve been flip flopping on that and Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust as my favorite Bowie albums for years
I stumbled across this recently while going down a different rabbit hole and it stunned me. I missed this previously. It leaves me wondering why I am circumcised. I am a bit bitter still and always about having the tip of my penis chopped off in the name of tradition, Now I see this and wonder what justification my parents could...
I used to make CS:S maps in middle school and when I had to make a rail for stairs I felt like a genius whipping out Pathagora. I really havent had to use it after that butttttt I did use it in my real life at one point.
I only use brave at work because it somehow bypasses the firewall there and I can install and use it. I run it to watch videos about cooking or traveling and reading news when I have nothing to do at my job....
I’m against it. Their crypto angle is/was a joke, and now the AI data harvesting pushes it further down.
I also found most Brave users to be some of the must infuriating people I met in real life. Not that brave it self did it, but most people I used to work with that used it was “privacy focused” libertarians with some bad takes.
I know it’s been easy to dunk on the COD series for almost a decade now, but what made this one different? I thought they had MTX for the last few games and the gameplay always seems to be the same as the annual sports games, but did it finally hit the wall where the majority of their fan base sees all the issues?
Seems like COD should just be a service at this point and you pay for the new yearly xpac. I hate suggesting that but that’s what the series seemed to be since OG MW2. Guess it’s just milk the money until enough people say enough
Recently I’ve been catching up on tv and some of the more mature/adult shows, which I’ve been…Enjoying? Seems like the wrong word, but they’ve all generally been cynical or dark....
Joe Pera and MITM definitely stand out to me on this list. Nathan as well but can be a little dry. Baskets is incredible but it does have it’s downer moments.
Had to fix my MIL’s laptop this week. All I did was clone the hdd to an SSD, disabled all the bloat on startup and took a spare ac adapter from work. I think I said “I fixed the file system, ran a virus scan and optimized the configuration.” Somehow using TV tech lingo works better than saying what you actually did.
Is it worth buying the PS5 remaster for the first game or is the standard one still good? I’ve been wanting to play it for years but am hung up on spending 15 for a used PS4 version of shell out 60 for the remaster
