Really. I like Williams, I really like the heritage that they represent. I hate seeing them struggling so much. I know it is going to be hard for them to ever be the team they used to be. They just don’t have the resources that works teams have. I don’t want to see them fall off the grid.
The war on drugs was never about the drugs. It has always been a way to legally suppress “others.” You can’t make it illegal for hippies, black folk, Chicanos, ect to vote. You can target groups by making things they are more likely to do illegal. The war on drugs, law and order policies, or red lining to name a few. Have always been ways to continue Jim Crow like policies while selling them to the public as good things for society.
Is there any vehicle in the world that screams rich asshole more than the cyber truck? There are more expensive vehicles for sure, but my first thought if I saw a Pagani wouldn’t be to flip it off.
I guess McLaren never heard of HPC they make a much more powerful E Bike that is fully compliant with US class 2 regulations. Which seems to be about the same and “trail legal” based on watts.
The HCP Revolution X comes with either a 6000 or 7000 watt motor which is a bit more than McLaren’s 852 watt motor.
Before anyone says the HPC must be an off road bike only. It is road legal in the US and McLaren’s bike wouldn’t be.
I actually like McLaren I just think it’s silly when top end car manufacturers do this kind of thing. Especially when they don’t bother to check if the PR hype is even true.
I bet if this goes to trial his lawyers are just going to argue that no reasonable person would believe these claims. That is just hyperbole there for it is not fraud.
Totally, though the hyperbole defense is real and much easier to argue. They will just say that Musk is part hype man for Tesla. Rhetorical hyperbole has been confirmed by the supreme Court to be a first amendment protected activity. You may feel this is dumb, but was also how John Oliver was able to repeatedly tell Bob Murray to eat shit.
Lol. I actually used to know a guy that claimed he used to have computer setup with a small thing to thermite on his hard drive and had set it up so if there were too many wrong passwords it would set the igniter off for the thermite. I don’t know if you really, did but he definitely had the technical skills to do that. He was one of those extreme early adopters of BSD and Linux who never used GUI. Oh and he was batshit crazy, legitimately I can see him thinking that was a good idea.
