I never perceived this could even be a possibility, I recall reading this in a bad sci-fi novel once and I thought it was dumb for a multitude of reasons:
It’s extremely unlikely that there would be any benefit. Most people would have their devices in a bag or pocket.
In cases such as an event where a terrorist attack occurred, there would likely be people recording it anyway and likely happy to had over their footage anyway.
There is no piece of software out there which could accurately determine what devices are in a particular area.
There is no government dumb enough to propose or support the ability to monitor citizens like this unless they are already in, or close to being in, a dictatorship.
And yet the justice minister thinks it is positive that this would “only be used dozens of times a year”
The TVDB shows 3 remaining episodes, my guess is they are special airing on special dates. The airing order for 3C has jumped around a lot, and these episodes have had dates attached previously. While not at all confirmed:
“Ghost Basket” had a previous air date late October. This oddly suggests a Halloween episode, probably mainly for the American audience, but it would great for a show to address the weird place Halloween is in within Australia, mainly there due to immigrants and Cadbury trying to make it a thing.
“Suprise” previously showed in September, which would suggest a Father’s Day episode (Father’s day is the first Sunday in September in Australia.)
“The Sign” had a date within December, suggesting a Christmas special.
Have a look at Jackett, it re-produces the search results for hundreds of torrent sites as Torznab feeds, what that means is that these can then be added to indexes for Sonarr and Radarr.
I just don’t get how these providers (Specifically Reddit with the API lockdown and now the stranglehold on mods, Twitter’s new login requirement, and YouTube now cracking down on adblockers) are missing the point that their sites live and die by user generated content.
I understand these sites are hugely expensive to run, but if you keep alienating those who are bringing users to your site in the first place, people will stop submitting and people will stop visiting.
