Bist du sicher, dass ein rationales Handeln den Klimawandel lösen würde? Bestimmte Prisoners Dilemma werden von rationalen Agenten ja schlechter gelöst als von irrationalen.
Wie @Spzi bereits erklärt hat, ist die Informationslage beim klassischen Prisoners Dilemma über die Kosten der Ausgänge allen Parteien komplett bekannt. Es ist den Gefangenen klar, dass das beste Ergebnis für alle zusammen ist, dass sie kooperieren. Das Problem ist, dass eine einzelne Partei durch nicht kooperieren noch besser dastehen kann. Beispiel beim Klimawandel wäre z.B., dass eine Nation von den Klimaschutzmaßnahmen anderer Länder profitiert und selbst aber keine Maßnahmen trifft und dadurch gigantische wirtschaftliche Vorteile erlangen kann.
Allerdings handelt es sich nicht unbedingt um das klassische Dilemma, da man die andere Seite über einen längeren Zeitraum beobachten kann. Es ist also eher ein Iterated Prisoners Dilemma. Allerdings durch Verschleierungstaktik und der schwierigen Kommunikation unter Menschen nicht trivial zu lösen. Wobei diese Probleme vermutlich von superintelligenten Akteuren gelöst werden könnten.

Gut, ist alles erstmal nur Korrelation. Denke aber, dass hier auch viel Kausalität durch den Umschwung zum Kapitalismus in China kam. Die Frage ist allerdings noch wie das langfristig weitergeht, oder ob wir gegen eine Wand laufen…

I am also using iOS with Möbius Sync and it is working quite well. The sync is not running all the time in the background due to iOS restrictions but it is running multiple times per day on my device.

Oder überdenken wir den Prozess, wie aktuell Software geschrieben und Hardware entwickelt wird und stellen klare Anforderungen an deren Marktreife und Testung?
Diese Anforderungen musst du allerdings irgendwie durchgesetzt bekommen und das ist aktuell teilweise schwierig.
Ein Problem, dass ich sehe ist, dass die Systeme so komplex sind, dass nur noch wenige bis keine Menschen das System überhaupt verstehen. Dadurch kann man z.B. den Auditoren, die die Prozesse prüfen, alles erzählen, da diese es nicht mehr selbst verstehen können. Außerdem herrscht ein großer Druck Sachen zu verschleiern. Teilweise auf Unternehmensebene, aber auch auf Mitarbeiterebene. Es gibt hier eben sehr viele Einzelinteressen, die dazu führen, dass Sicherheitsvorkehrungen nicht ordentlich umgesetzt werden.
Größtes Problem ist sicherlich so etwas wie Updates, da diese gleichzeitig ausgerollt werden können.
Und Testen ist auch schwierig, da es nie möglich ist, alle Szenarien der Realität zu testen. Bei einem Update hast du z.B. die Probleme, dass es sehr viele Updatepfade verschiedener Versionen geben kann oder dass durch Rollbacks unbeachtete Zustände auftreten können. Gleichzeitig soll das Update aber natürlich schnell sein und von jeder Version auf jede geupdatet werden können. In der Realität werden solche “schwierigeren” (und das sind in der Realität leider schon schwierige Probleme, auch wenn sie auf den ersten Blick offensichtlich klingen) Probleme leider oft sehr gruselig behandelt.
Auf der anderen Seite sind Menschen beim fahren auch nicht perfekt. Hier muss man auf jeden Fall abwägen, was hier überwiegt.

But how high is the rate of unemployment in your country? In Germany it is really low, so it probably costs a working person only a few euros per month to support all children of unemployed persons. Not sure if it is worth it to not help these children as they are already severely disadvantaged. Not to mention it can be seen as an investment in these children.
If you are not paying for Sync you are getting ads. So you are still paying (attention, data, you are the product).
Additionally proprietary software has some long term disadvantages that are not visible at first. This is why one needs to always inform people about it as they do not understand these disadvantages.
The biggest issue is that the owners of the proprietary code can change its course whenever they like it. See for example the Reddit Apollo Dev who would have sold out the community for 10 million dollars:
