Folks. I honestly didn't ask about stripping Google services from a phone or using a disconnected one.

I know how to do that, FFS.

I asked about a digital camera because that is the solution I want.

I'm a grownup who has been in the tech industry for 25 years. I don't expect you to know that, but I also kind of expect people to give me the benefit of the doubt that I know WTF I am talking about or, alternately, ignore me if they can't do that.

So I associate High German with trauma, which is largely not its fault, it's just that a lot of horrible shit has happened to me in the language since I started speaking it.

But I actually enjoy language learning when there is no pressure to survive in it administratively. I might dabble a bit while recovering if my mind is up to it.

So I'm vacillating between French (my French is AWFUL), Italian (I sort of understand it), and Swiss German.

What do you think, Fediverse?

Watched in a pub during a friend's birthday party - not too impressed with most of the game I managed to catch. Now home and in my PJs and looking forward to .

I could do the basics eg ball gets thrown backwards and no punching! But spouse (who I introduced the game to) knows all the rules and spots fouls that I miss.
Be great to have a pint together, watching Scotland/Wales beat England
