I've set some rules, which you can follow, or try to follow, or even don't want to follow and make up your own? Anything is possible.
There is no deadline.
You can make it big, or even bigger, or biggest. Or you might prefer a small, quick drawing.
And if you like, share your thoughts on the process here. And the result(s) of course, would be nice too.
@HannahCelsius je wordt wel gelezen hoor :). Zelfs aan mijn dochter verteld. En misschien haak ik wel een keertje aan, maar nu nog te druk met van alles en nog wat om iets nieuws op te pakken.
DO try this at home. A new RULES drawing coming up, and i invite you to join. I give some rules, we all draw, et voila, lots? of drawings. And maybe we, you or someone will have some thoughts on the process to share.
I don't set a timeframe, so no one has to feel rushed. Take as long as you want or need.
It is quite simple: take a piece of paper, a pencil or ink pen or so.
Make some margins, and you are ready to go.
The size of the paper and the margins can be anything you want.
If you have little time or energy, make a small drawing. If you want to spent many hours, make it big.
Or, you could also choose a large size but then also use a thick marker: then its faster too.
Here is the sample of the hickups.
As you can see, the inner line (the first connecting, long, straigh, line) slowly changed into a line with hickups, so you can then draw shorter straight lines, which is much easier.
Whilst drawing, and thinking about creating hickups in long straight lines, i can't help thinking about life.
Life with all kinds of hickups.
And i now am wondering, if we can use these hickups as stepping stones as well. Dó we use them as stepping stones maybe, but are we (i) not aware of that?
Laatste hoofdstuk alweer, van dit mooie boek, Waar de wind waait' van Nick Hunt.
Hij wandelt de routes van 4 bekende winden: de Helm, de Bora, de Föhn, en de Mistral.
There's a person in my neighbourhood, who's riding a bike that sounds like a goose.
First time i heard it, 2-3 yrs ago, it was around midnight, i did not understand: is there a goose in my street? wtf?
After a few times i went to look out my window, and saw the bike.
For some time i did not hear it, until a week or so ago: now they sound like a FLOCK of geese!
Redundant, a new beautiful song by @skaly , in response to the UK government's blocking of Scotland's gender recognition reform bill and their avoidance of legislating a ban on conversion therapy.
Very frustrated right now, as i receive all the Amsterdam Art week emails. With text like these, with a list of all the galleries involved.
Do they have proper ventilation? Not mentioned anywhere. Any other precautions? I don't think so, there is not a word about it.
And especially on friday night drinks it's ofcourse going to be very busy, no doubt about that.
So what can i do? Should i email all those galleries? Or the AAW organisation? Or what? Do i just shut up and wait until ... well, until when?
Soooo i mailed them, but i suppose they will reply with something like: it's the responsibility of the galleries, or 'but we must make money' , 'the artists are poor and must make a living' etc.
O... and 'funny' remarks about this get a block, instantly. I'm not gonna 'discuss' about any BS.
