I intend to post, and follow people who post about programming, FOSS, Ganoo+Linox, Linux, BSDs, server admin, infosec, privacy, and other computer, IT stuff with this account. I often repeat other FOSS project-related posts, or otherwise try to spread the word (links on my sites, posts elsewhere, etc), and would appreciate if that were reciprocated for my projects/project-related posts. IMO, FOSS devs/projects and users should work together to get freedom and privacy-respecting work funded!

Currently using #fedora on desktop, #alpine on servers, and #alpine and #OpenBSD on firewalls.

Currently using #nimlang for web and desktop applications, although web with #nim is still in trial/testing phase.

@sonny I don't know why anyone would want these emails. I find them infuriating and this practice always seemed like a transparent and condescending excuse to mine/store login metadata. Especially once MS/Github or other big tech is involved. Did any user actually even ask for this? I would like to read that issue/pr.

I've been using Inkscape for over 10 years. If I had been using Illustrator for 10 years I would have paid Adobe over $2,500 in "rental" fees for a subscription that stops as soon as I stop paying.

Instead I started paying $5 a month to Inkscape to help make sure we can all use it for free for as long as we want.

@rasterweb I've often said "if people would donate/spend half what they spend on proprietary software on a FOSS alternative, the FOSS alternative would be twice as good." ...Or something like that. :)
