Renewable energy accounted for more than 30% of the world’s electricity for the first time last year following a rapid rise in wind and solar power, according to new figures....
Hopefully my partitioning was decent though, so distro-hopping shouldn’t be too hard if I feel like switching (or even running different distros side-by-side?)
I was personally drawn to it because: it’s not Ubuntu; ButterFS seems like a nice safety net; KDE Plasma is sexy AF; noone seems to have anything particularly horrible to say about it.
Why is your chosen distro (obviously) the superior choice?
Thing is outsiders are much more likely to stir things up than local students - at least in my experience. This applies to parties and other events as well, not just protests.

Yeah, I loved the expanse - until they upped the stakes by breaking physics. I can’t help but wonder if it was the author running out of ideas, because he’d been doing so well in the first parts.
So the house is in the Katamon neighborhood (West Jerusalem), which is within the internationally recognized borders of Israel, and has been since 1948.

In other words, this is not news and reads very much like an opinion piece designed to make people angry.
There are plenty of things to actually be aggravated about, so can we please not post irrelevant not-news ragebait to a community titled “World News”?
Whilst your post is not explicitly rule-breaking, this community is not an appropriate place to discuss and speculate on the validity of criminal charges. As such, this post will be locked.
Furthermore, when posting here in the future, keep in mind that the title of your post should contain the question being asked.
Where I live, there’s usually a union rep on the board if the company is sufficiently large - so it’s sort of getting to vote on who your boss is, in a roundabout way.
Yeah, getting rid of malaria in large parts of the world was one of the great successes of the 1900’s, and a large reason for that was the drainage of wetlands. Part of the reason I personally cannot at all sympathize with folks who want to restore the wetlands. Particularly with the world heating up, it’s likely to result in a surge of mosquito-borne disease.
I fundamentally disagree. Our mastery over nature is what allows us to even care about such esoteric things. As a humanist, I consider climate change a problem because it poses a threat to humans, much like mosquitoes do.
In all fairness, it’s not exactly something people talk about - and for the record, I’ve never ended up paying any interest on the card. It’s just convenient, offering a layer of protection for charges, makes it easier for me to track spendings, and allows me to be earning interest on my paycheck by keeping it in a savings account until I need to balance the CC.
