I've been throughly enjoying Homeworld 3's campaign.

I am half way through the campaign, and it's a beautiful experience. Often literally—it's extremely clear the artists at Blackbird put a lot of thought into exactly what you see when you first warp into the mission. It's gorgeous.

The story is also quite good so far. I like the protagonist and her side-kick, "Intel," (lol) and I'm excited to see what happens next.

@mattontech I mean, that's all that matters in the end! I think I'll hold off for a sale or two, but I'm always happy to see people having a good time with their games :)

I'm running a magic academy #adventure for one of my #dnd parties.

One of them is a lovely, gifted and very, very caring teacher IRL.

This is their reaction to almost everything that's happening in that academy and the absolute lack of ensuring the safety of students at every turn (the reminder they signed a waiver is insufficient).

I think I'm putting them through a whole lot.

Versuche seit 20 Minuten diverse Vorsorgetermine bei Ärzt:innen zu machen, und die Zweiklassengesellschaft wird immer krasser. Warteschleifen die in Anrufbeantwortern oder direktes Auflegen enden. Aber extra Telefonnummern für Privatpatient:innen auf der Website, die man als gesetzlich Versicherte nicht nutzen darf...

@adastra Wünsche dir gute Nerven. Nach meinem letzten Umzug musste ich 7 Ärzte abklappern, bis ich nen neuen Hausarzt hatte.

The party in my 2 year running #dnd campaign learned that the Baron they had been talking to since the start was actually a Doppelgänger, who's keeping the real Baron's body on ice in the cellar with the goal of reviving him and keeping this information from the enemy until they achieve it.

The party needs the same thing as the staff and Doppelgänger of the Baron to achieve their goals. They are now in a stand-off despite having similar goals.

Their genuine surprise was worth it all.

Tonight we go play some Victoria 3

It has been a long time since last I played and I haven't played it much either. With Crusader Kings 3 and 2 being my favorite Paradox titles, but finding the Victorian age appealing, I wanted to go revisit the game tonight.

Let's see how it's changed and if it's a bit more up my alley now.
