Apologies for being late on this. It completely slipped my mind! I drove across the country to continue moving stuff up north over the weekend, and just lost track of time I suppose. The threads here now! Expect another one on Sunday. ❤️

This game is such a disappointment. Paused a bg3 game to test it. Did the tutorial rolling my eyes all the time. The first few missions hitting my head on the desk and finally, got back to Shadowheart.
Too bad the performances are not the biggest problem with that game
Sooooo boring, shitty interface, emotionless characters, the starting plot is dumb as f. I’m really happy to have taken the pass to test it, would have been a waste of money

I’m looking to switch into a tech job in the future, and I’m wondering if web development could be a good choice. Ideally, I’d like an interesting job with a good work-life balance, and I would even be willing to take a pay cut later in my career in order to have more free time. I’m hoping to get some insight into the...
You can’t compare the employment of a former google/twitter/xxx bit tech dev to a junior just starting. Lived the precedent crisis and it’s often easier to employ a cheap dev than a more expansive one,
But, it will clearly be harder no matter what.
As for OP, web dev is always a solid choice. If you really want to boost your resume, you may want to build some experience as an app dev too. It’s often very looked for.
President Biden said he won’t expand the Supreme Court because doing so would “politicize” the court in an unhealthy way. But it’s a political institution by its nature — and a disturbingly undemocratic one.
