Ismay,

That is so wrong.

I’m 41. Figured it out around 36 because I never had the vocabulary to describe it and understand it. And I was miserable.

That’s “don’t say gay” bullshit aimed at making us invisible. And you.ve regress from “no pu blocker” to “don’t talk about it”. Nice support.

Enjoy your youth suicide rate…

Ismay,

Damn did I chose a right time to move my gaming pc to Linux 😂

Ismay,

Pretty wild to want to add channel when:

  • their interface is garbage
  • their content is pretty lacking

If they play any “pay for that channel”, it’s insta unsub

Ismay,

Just started War Thunder and I’m having quite a bit of fun.

Otherwise a bit of Last Epoch, a bit of Rimworld. Chill

Ismay,

Or, hear me out, maybe switch to Firefox ?

When caring about the privacy of your data, using a software made by the biggest data collector might be a bad idea…

Ismay,

Yeah but you have to divide the footprint by the average number of travelers.

Ismay,

Large monitor allows you to have a lot less neck strain and to have 3 code files open at once. I would not go back to have 2 monitors.

Tho the best is one whql + the laptop screen for slack 😁

Ismay,

This game is such a disappointment. Paused a bg3 game to test it. Did the tutorial rolling my eyes all the time. The first few missions hitting my head on the desk and finally, got back to Shadowheart.

It felt soooooo empty. So shallow.

Ismay,

Exclusif : Gandalf caught with the 2 disappeared blue mages

Ismay,

Had pretty much the same experience. Got a 6600XT, moved to 1440p.

I bought a 6700XT and I’ m pretty happy with it. If I had to buy something today, would probably try to find a 7700XT

Ismay,

Did that too with my 6700XT. Don’t play FPS much so don’t really care about frame rate over 60 most of the time.

Decreased voltage and changes ventilation to ensure a more silent experience, love it now ☺️

Ismay,

You can’t. Any lvl20 Spellcaster would tpk the whole party in one spell 😂

Ismay,

You do know you can remove the minimaps (that do come from hell) ?

Other than that, I started trying neovim. I like the concept of not having too move your “mouse” hand but boy it’s a chore to start xD

Ismay,

Too bad the performances are not the biggest problem with that game

Sooooo boring, shitty interface, emotionless characters, the starting plot is dumb as f. I’m really happy to have taken the pass to test it, would have been a waste of money

Well more time for bg3 and sea of stars

Ismay,

This is just for the show. What we need is a 20% tax on the transaction AND 50% on rental revenue.

I guess it should start at the 3rd property.

Ismay,

Fair point. A few years ago I would have said they would never be able to increase prices that much but …

Maybe crank it up even more so it’s not realistically possible ? Second option is to forbid to own more than two properties at all 🤔

Other dev won't follow best practices, is this common?

Hello again, I’m in a situation where the one the senior devs on my team just isn’t following best practices we laid out in our internal documentation, nor the generally agreed best practices for react; his code works mind you, but as a a team working on a client piece I’m not super comfortable with something so fragile...

Ismay,

Soooo much. It’s the biggest of red flags to have to fix other’s reviews.

Maybe take it up with managment. Those kind of profile are a hinder for every other devs that are working with them

Web Development as a Career? (programming.dev)

I’m looking to switch into a tech job in the future, and I’m wondering if web development could be a good choice. Ideally, I’d like an interesting job with a good work-life balance, and I would even be willing to take a pay cut later in my career in order to have more free time. I’m hoping to get some insight into the...

Ismay,

I don’t think it’s necessary true.

You can’t compare the employment of a former google/twitter/xxx bit tech dev to a junior just starting. Lived the precedent crisis and it’s often easier to employ a cheap dev than a more expansive one,

But, it will clearly be harder no matter what.

As for OP, web dev is always a solid choice. If you really want to boost your resume, you may want to build some experience as an app dev too. It’s often very looked for.

Ismay,

The same is already true the other way around. It’s the AVE.

Ismay,

Or just remove the “for life” component and have the judge be nominated by states judges ?
