George Christensen's CitizenGo campaign trucks stopped in the No Stopping zone outside Old Parliament House on Friday. With the Australian Christian Lobby, Family Voice & One Nation, they're fighting the government's misinformation bill claiming they'll be cancelled on social media. As one of the pioneering microcomputers, it played a significant role in shaping the early personal computer era.

@SinclairSpeccy my family's TRS-80 CoCo was my first computer experience in about 1980. It did not disappoint.

But more to the point, why isn't Telstra / Fed gov't footing the bill? Isn't there a requirement to provide telecommunication infrastructure to ALL Australians?

The old Windows boot disk has been emptied of anything useful. I got a fresh installation stick put together and it's nearly done installing Linux Mint.

For the umpteenth time I'll get to do the password dance with apps but it started and finished while I was writing this toot. Time to remove the USB stick and reboot.

The old Linux box will soon be available as a whatever. Maybe as a server.
