As the title says, I’ve been using various flavours of Arch basically since I started with Linux. My very first Linux experience was with Ubuntu, but I quickly switched to Manjaro, then Endeavour, then plain Arch. Recently I’ve done some spring cleaning, reinstalling my OS’s. I have a pretty decent laptop that I got for...
kde debian user. I tend to go between testing and unstable branches for my laptop when i want newer packages and its been fine for a while. I run stable for all my containers and vms and everything has been great!
I remember when it was just Hulu for $5 and Netflix for $8. Saved $50 a month from cable. Now it seems we spend more. I have four. Max, Peacock, Paramount and Hulu. Prime doesn’t count because it sucks balls. (Only paying Netflix when next Stranger Things and Squid Game is released). Curious to see what the average...
I do have a pair of Bluetooth headphones and I use them from time to time. I tend to revert to my wired m50x pretty often just out of personal preference
I’ve traveled to quite a few national parks but New River Gorge was an amazing surprise. It’s the newest national park and doesn’t get a lot of attention but it is absolutely stunning. The hiking was amazing, as was the white water rafting. And the nearby town of Fayetteville was a pleasant surprise as well. Hidden gem.
I’m asking because it seems to me that there are people that write guides to games that are high score addicts. For example, if you look up a guide to an RPG or even an Action RPG game on there, the author of the guide wants to help you. The same thing goes for people writing guides for platform-type games. However, if...
Since they are community posts I don’t think vetting is really an issue. Even developer guides are probably fine. I come from the mindset of not looking at guides and trying to figure out the game/solution so I’d be interested in how many people use them/depend on them
lol sometimes i forget children are on the internet. Sorry for contributing to your small post glad to see lemmy has a block user feature. Have a fun lemmy experience
I’m sure it looks fine on the surface at first but there is no way the way was getting down into all the concrete. It’ll fall apart much sooner then they are expecting
How is he not financially stable? Does he work a low wage, spend beyond his means, etc? Id base my decision off of that. If he’s making decent money but spending it all maybe I’d help with building a budget and evaluating expenses to see where all the money is going. If a low age maybe helping update his resume and looking for a better paying job that matches his skillsets
Recently started using a LightPhone II when out of the house, and I found the article captured my current experience pretty well. It’s not so bad to be bored sometimes.
I still have a few phone numbers fully memorized and type them out when calling those specific people. More as an exercise to myself. Same thing with driving. I try not to use gps maps if Im going anywhere even when it’s multiple states away

Wayland. Only thing currently bothering me about it is the login screen uses x and my cursor size on x isn't scaling right so only on login I have a huge cursor size. Barely enough of an issue for me to go in and correct it
Late last year I purchased a 12th gen framework laptop and honestly it's been pretty good. My biggest issues with it are really the hinge is not strong at all even with the upgraded one, the keyboard is trash, lack of trackpoint with buttons, and lack of IO. Don't get me wrong I really like this device but I keep thinking I...
I know there is a guy on the Thinkpad subreddit whose working on building a thinkpad keyboard into a framework which might help but i think if someone figures out how to put the fw motherboard into thinkpad chassis that might be the answer
