This USA tour event has been a disaster so far.
Announced just days before a Cup final with tickets going on sale the day after the final.
No heads up for OLSC's to request blocks of tickets ahead of the pre-sale.
Prices astronomical. Over $300 in the LFC "end"

Post-match narratives are always interesting. Chelsea were .5 xG better, with 5 big chances to 1. Did they bottle it? Were they wasteful? Or were Kelleher and the defense superb?

I've decided if you switch one hypothetical, the thought experiment shows some truth. Had Chelsea scored, as expected -- had Kelleher not gotten all of Palmer's shot, or Disasi not missed a gaping net, what would change? What wouldn't?

Here's what wouldn't: Chelsea's best struggled against LFC's empty cupboard.

And I'm not sure what to think of Endo yet, except to say I believe he's still adapting to the pace of the EPL relative to the Bundesliga.

My eyes see his quality, his turns on receiving a pass into open and promising space. He occasionally links a quick vertical ball to a promising position before the defense can settle.

But he seems late to challenges and isn't winning his duels (yesterday 1/9 ground duels, 2/5 aerial). That tells me he's likely still adapting to the speed of the EPL.

@jhonygutierrez @mlawton I hate that the games are gonna be compared tbh. One of our reds was ruled incorrect after the game and the other was BS when CJ's foot bounced off the ball. Then we played brilliantly and they only scored off an own goal.
Spurs on the other hand should've had the same players sent off earlier and fully deserved to be playing with 9. Then they played like idiots on the halfway line. Only Chelsea's absolute incompetence prevented them getting a goal till late.

The red for Romero had to be given, if nothing else than karmic recompense for Curtis Jones. He was VAR'd into a red for far less.

@georgetakei Desperately disappointed in him. He was one of my favorite players of the recent generation and he captained us to win everything. I'm sure he truly believes he still has the same values but it's inexcusable IMO to do what he's done if he really held those values.
