Have a Monster of the Week game you've been dying to talk about? Have a story from Lasers and Feelings that never actually come up in conversation? Want to talk about Call of Cthulhu? The TTRPG scene is as wide and diverse as the people who play them. What else do you play?
At Level 20, Wizards get their Capstone Ability. Undeterred by metagaming a power build and resisting the in game temptation to sell your soul for two levels for some Eldritch Invocations you hit Pure Wizard level 20 and get Signature Spell. The miltiverse’s most powerful spell caster. You can stand toe to toe with the forces...
I’m not asking the most powerful, but your personal favorite. Mine is Bigby’s Hand; it’s hilarious and I love it. (And since Mage Hand isn’t concentration, you can have them both active at the same time and make them high-five!)
I think this decentralization and federation is what web3 is all about, without all the corporations calling everything to do with monkey pixel art that costs a million dollars "web3"
I'm planning to write my own D&D 5e campaign this year. I have the premise and basic plot outline, and I'm working on filling out the details. But beyond just building encounters, traps, and puzzles, how do you actually go about planning and writing a custom campaign? I'd love to hear your process.
I spend the most time on worldbuilding. Then I look at what's wrong with the world and what the party can do about it. I come up with a good starting adventure, a rough idea of the main factions/storylines involved, and who I want the villain to be. If I have PC backstories at this point, I'll also weave those in; otherwise, I tend to use them as good reveals when the moment feels right.
Wait, what's the difference between "dzh" and a "hard j"? (Assuming "zh" refers to the final sound in "garage.") The "hard J" is just a combination of "d" and "zh".
What's the oddest thing you've ever done in the Sims?
I realized my parent sim was going to die before his child grew up, so I had him build a Servo to become the child's new caretaker after his death.

What non-d20 systems are you playing right now?

Speaking of "Signature Spells," the Wizard Capstone Feature is Underwhelming at Best

How do y'all pronounce Blåhaj?
I know you're supposed to pronounce it along the lines of "blo-hi", but the Anglicized "blahaj" is so hard to resist!
