Je suis passé à Dvorak il y a quelques années et je ne regrette pas.
Pour les caractères non-ASCII, j’utilise la touche de composition sous Linux (ou via WinCompose quand je suis sous Windows), ça marche très bien.
I bought the official dock on sale. While I have other docks that kinda worked, the continued support with firmware updates and an extra excellent usb-c charger sealed the deal. 20pt off helped off course too! 😎...
USB-C docks not made specifically for the Switch seem to be hit and miss.
As an alternative, you can check out the Genki Covert Dock and Covert Dock Mini that work well with the Switch and the Deck and are really small, so great for traveling.
Unfortunately they’re rated for 25W and 20W respectively, while the Deck usually requires 38W for full-speed charge, so it won’t charge as well as the official Valve dock and it doesn’t have power pass-through.
I recently updated my kobo devices and saw that there’s a Google drive option now for storing books elsewhere, for the time being I’ve just been using calibre and moving files over myself, would there be any concerns to host non drm ebooks from mam on a Google drive if I’m only sharing it with like one person....
There's a new engine that's been in development these last few months (available on the beta channel on PC) that greatly improves the performance. This might be what's going to be used on the Switch release.
Basically, I want to be lazy and be able to click "subscribe" on any magazine/lemmy version of magazine in the threadiverse without manually changing the url to kbin.social/m/whatever@blah.tld....
On Lemmy you can save posts using the star icon (or the bookmark icon on Jerboa for Android). For Kbin, I think you can favorite a comment/post by clicking the up arrow on the top-right. This should allow you to later find it on https://kbin.social/fav.
The author of the article I posted also shared it on m/reddit and on Mastodon.
I never realized how much some people rely on Reddit for social interaction. It's truly fascinating. Also, their unwillingness to even consider using other platforms.

What habits or practies have you adopted from cultures besides your own?
For example, I’m a white Jewish guy but I’ve adopted the Japanese practice of keeping dedicated house slippers at the front door.

Would be great if the official dock could be used for the Switch! Any custom firmware?

BlueSky invite
If anyone has a BlueSky invite, feel free to DM me. Elon Musk is making Twitter worse and he is limiting how many tweets people can view.

Can ActivityPub save the internet? (www.theverge.com)
Imagine a world without platform lock-in, where no ban or billionaire could take down your social network. That’s what ActivityPub has planned.
Has anyone made a Chrome/Firefox extension that adds a button to any non-"home" kbin/lemmy instance magazine that lets you subscribe to it?
