A post condemning violence against civilians in Israel and the Palestinian territories on both sides has cost me more than 100 followers on different social media.
I can't mourn those followers. I invite other people who approve of one side of this conflict and disapprove of the other to also press the unfollow button. I'd rather have 10.000 fewer followers than people who enjoy my share of streetart who want to perpetuate this conflict.
Openly condemning crimes against innocent citizens on both sides is a human duty. If you keep your mouth shut or take sides, you are choosing even more innocent deaths, as I see it. The world must strongly condemn both sides of the violence, even if I only have 1 follower left, I will continue to do so. This conflict keeps me awake at night and I can't live with myself if I don't denounce it out loud.
@AmiW Sorry Ami. I let it go. I am just loaded big time about this very conflict. It worries me for decades and my hart hurts so much when I see the violence and the lack of respect for human life on both sides.
It has nothing to do with you, it is the subject that makes it very hard to have peace with.
