It seems as though I am a fool.

Yesterday, I bought the physical edition of Aliens vs. Predator (2000) for PC. It was C$7.00.

But just now, I decided to see if it’s on Steam. Yes, it is. And right now, it’s selling for C$1.29.

Once again, I got suckered in by the pull of physical media – which might not even work on modern machines. I really should have just bought the digital version from the outset. This will definitely work on all my hardware – including my Steam Deck, because it’s deemed “playable”.

In fact, I’m buying it right now because it’s better to just have peace of mind. The physical game plus the digital version on Steam are still less than C$10 – which makes it cheaper than the average Nintendo 64 game.
