    @divya Well it is San Francisco, so everything starts with ‘No’ and gets negotiated to death until some fragment of the original proposal emerges - that nobody likes - years later and for twice the price.

    I try not to be this sarcastic, but SF really does need to figure out how to get out of its own way sometimes.

    @flexghost I know this is good for the case against the others and Trump, but I feel that the lawyers are getting off a bit easy.

    P values?
    Do they account solely for sampling error (therefore irrelevant when population data is available) OR do they serve to asses the likelihood of something being due to chance in other ways (therefore relevant for studies with population data)?

    P-values can be generated from various statistical tests, so a P-value gives no indication of whether the appropriate test was used to analyze the data.

    @dnc You need to add more flour to the form and/or the top of the loaf before putting it in the form. Also consider using rice flour or 50:50 rice:wheat flour to coat the form. Bottom line, the wet sticky dough just absorbed whatever flour you coated it with and then had a chance to stick to the form.

    @Fury @academicchatter I start with a folder for each experiment that contains all the raw and processed data. Eventually those folders get placed under a folder that holds all the work for one figure. I make a main folder as I begin to write that has all the figure/table folders. I use a separate folder for the manuscript files (drafts, submissions, rejections, accepted). Two additional folders in the main paper/project folder: 1) Abtract/presentations, 2) Background Info
