Because when the world collapses we will definitely need a narcissistic disgraced CEO to survive the apocalypse… Someone should convince him to go live in his bunker now so we don’t have to listen to his bullshit anymore
Yes it seemed more difficult to do just about anything on Kbin to me, but that may be in part because of the app I was using and the recent influx of so many Redditors though
Who's gearing up for 24 Hours of Cross Stitch this weekend?
For once I've actually remembered its happening, so to celebrate maybe I'll actually take part! Not sure I can really manage 24 whole hours but maybe if I make it a long weekend and fudge the numbers slightly 😅
Only problem is I'm supposed to be #sewing this weekend as well...hmm this is gonna be a busy few days!
I was not aware there were designated cross stitch holidays like this lol! Sadly I will be out of town this weekend, but I will try to take part in the next one!

I was banned from the Anti-Work subreddit for questioning why someone in a picket line was dressed like the wish .com version of Che Guevara. He looked ridiculous, nobody else was dressed up, and they were picketing a fucking Starbucks.
I thought it was just a funny observation but the mods banned me after it got upvoted to top comment on the post lol
I hooked them up to a Roku box so I could use it to watch old TV shows in SD format! The picture is actually really clear, but it looks terrible here from the camera interference lol
I remember it was a big deal when I got this little tv because it meant I could play Nintendo in my room and no one would complain that I needed to stop playing so they could watch golf lol
I haven’t owned an LG product since they made flip phones and now I guess I never will again lol
Imagine buying a washing machine for $800 and being told it comes with a monthly subscription fee… I’d rather go wash my clothes on a big rock down by a river
I used to be a “one project at a time” kind of stitcher but lately I get sidetracked by other projects that I give out as presents so it’s always at least two at a time. Now it gets kind of difficult when I have a deadline for one but I also have to do it in secret… While living with that person and spending a good chunk...
I’m still very new to this hobby, so I’m still just doing one project at a time, but I do already have like 3 more projects lined up and I’ve considered starting one of them already
I did not realize when I downloaded this new pattern that it is larger than the widest loop that I have (I realize this is my own fault for not reading the description closely enough). Is it ok to clamp the loop down onto parts I’ve already stitched so I can work on the next part of the pattern or will this mess up the...
My only worry with getting a bigger hoop is that it might get difficult to maneuver around. I thought this 9" hoop would work but the pattern ended up being almost 15" when using 14 count Aida. I think I’ll take your advice and test it on a small part of the pattern I can easily repair if it gets messed up. Thankfully this is just regular stitches so no beads or knots or anything!
Throwback post to the Steotchalone 2020 (or however you spell it). I don’t normally take part in any time-intensive or team events because frankly I wouldn’t be able to keep up, but during the lockdown they ran a version designed for solo participation and I signed up on a total whim....
I just recently watched your blackwork tutorial! The pattern from the video is next on my to-do list, so I might try it with some of the multicolor floss now!

OC What are some disused words I can call my teenagers?
I've been calling them ne'er-do-wells lately, or sometimes layabouts.
