We unlock our computers and phones with pass codes, fingerprints, and facial recognition linked to user accounts. Why do we not have the same for cars, linked to driving licences, where a recognised fingerprint or faceID is needed before the vehicle can start?

This is a good article from Cyclox.
Elite racing is exciting and is great for region promotion, but it doesn't enable or encourage people to cycle.
As they say, everyday people cycling around and enjoying it encourages others.
