Pantherina,

There is a Flatpak! Awesome and lol of course it works way better than on damn Android, where you need weird hacks that dont really work

Pantherina,

Lol just yesterday wrote a CLI tool for that. (Pssst, saves data)

github.com/…/Flatpak-trash-remover

Pantherina,

Pretty complicated

Pantherina,

But this doesnt work once uninstalled. This really is an isse with flatpaks.

Pantherina,

Dudes remove that spyware from your Networks omg

Pantherina,

I dont see the use. Its just Firefox with some light CSS, some Addons

Librewolf and Mull are the only Firefox forks I would use. And even these… Arkenfox user.js and custom userChrome on official Firefox Flatpak is the best option.

Pantherina,

I dont know anything of Linux Gaming because nothing works, on my GPU, or whatever, somehow it doesnt work this is probably a WINE thing.

So Proton and all are sometimes working less well as Flatpak, which would stand against Fedora Silverblue/Kinoite and so on. OpenSuse doesnt care about KDE so microOS KDE will always be buggy it seems.

I use Kinoite and will probably never switch. Its pretty great, up to date, secure, with rollback…

Pantherina,

Fax kann halt easy gehackt werden…

Pantherina,

Hahaha everyone hating Vanadium. I also dont see its value, its standard and not private, doesnt even delete cookies. Use it for sites where Firefox breaks, again.

Pantherina,

Yay this is now a URL. If your intention was not to post a URL to some random website not loading anything but javadscript, put a "" before the link I guess

Test "example/.com"

Pantherina,

They do but its useless. Winrar can handle .tar.* too

Pantherina,

Lzo or lzma is best for compression. Also depends on the compression rate. KDE Ark is awesome

Pantherina,

In Germany its pretty much only Nazis, Rightwing people and the Bundeswehr, so also often right wing people

Pantherina,

Whats the matter with camping sites? Saw that too

Pantherina,

Just trying out OpenSuse microOS currently, as an alternative to Fedora Kinoite, and the installer doesnt even load.

I dont like Ubuntus variant of Gnome. I think GNOME can look good but its apps are often horrible. Mint has a better set of simple but powerful tools.

But I would stay with anything rocking KDE. I recommend fedora Kinoite fro ublue.it (better video previews and working RPM firefox basically), its a really great distro.

Pantherina,

Crazy! Also I found the installer to be pretty weird.

I think I got it working now, the LUKS screen is blue and shows an error...

And Fedora Kinoite is not Beta at all. Its just as stable as KDE can be it seems, it has some weird timing bugs sometimes, but it works well and is very up to date.

Ublue is also essential, it bloats it a bit but thats nessecary.

Pantherina,

People say Linux is complicated while you can literally just run one script and have everything setup.

Pantherina,

This will require all the stupid providers to acually care. And I dont see that yet. But yes, annoy your train companies, banks and more!

Pantherina,

Interesting. Just use Libredirect I guess

Pantherina,

Didnt know that! Thats cool.

Banking TAN apps are nessecary if you somehow want to use your phone and not a weird card reader. The app itself is just comfortable

Pantherina,

I think having seperate repos sucks but its okay. Droid-ify has preconfigured repos you just have to enable.

Pantherina,

I dont listen to much music. I dont have Gigabytes of music. No real idea how to discover new music of various genres.

So if people share playlists atleast I need to download the songs. I almost never use that app, but anyways.

Pantherina,

Really its great! No you cant use a mutable OS for years. Immutable? No problem! You can even switch desktops, upgrade and downgrade versions, try the beta and switch back,...

Its still very hackable. /etc is changeable for example. You can layer RPMs and hack around installing SDDM themes using Lunas awesome sddm2rpm.

And still its secure, has zero-downtime updates and its modern.

Pantherina,

Originale Tastatur.
