My boyfriend invited me over to his place to watch a movie, and I gladly accepted. When I arrived, he still hadn’t returned, so I thought I’d surprise him by preparing some snacks for us and setting up a bath. As I headed to the bathroom, I noticed the door was strangely locked. I called out to him, but there was no reply....

And in my defense. A month before that she had pranked me by telling me she was pregnant, in a country where not only is abortion illegal, it’s illegal to get pregnant outside of wedlock (unless it’s rape). So either we had to get a shotgun marriage or she had to report a rape. And thats ignoring our families who woulda killed us anyways!
Yeah very likely. But belief and perception shape our reality. If OP immersed themselves in the experience, the intensity of their belief made it undeniably real within their own perspective. In OPs mind, the emotions, thoughts, and sensations were genuine. Creating a reality that is authentic and meaningful to them, regardless of external perceptions/ “objective reality”.
Yeah she survived, I added the update as a comment on the original post. She was honestly the least of anyones concern at that point (I know that sounds bad). But the bullet had only grazed her head. But I’d assumed much worse for a woman so old. But your head isnt where you really wanna get shot.
