A series of slides. ggplot2, a well rounded update. This is a pun, since this blog post is about a new function in ggplot2 to help draw pie charts, donuts and similarly shaped radial geoms. There's also a very fast slide in there that shows Hadley standing in front of a pie chart; that was a joke Jenny Bryan played on Hadley, who isn't a huge fan of pie charts. Jenny was scheduled to give a talk at posit conf but couldn't make it, hadley stepped in, and Jenny decorated her talk with all sorts of silly things Hadley might prefer not to have, including a pie chart. We all laughed. It was great. Anyway, ggplot2 3.5 is out now, and it has a new handy function for pie and donut plots, check out the tidyverse blog post to learn more. Thanks whoever reads this.
