I'm still positively surprised with the community echo to my blog post "10 Elixir Gotchas":

Thank you everyone for your work, contributions and being a wonderful community! 💚💚💚

Love the whole spirit, as always, of "Can we do better? Ship it"

📘📘📘 New post: 10 @elixir gotchas!

It's a great language, but some behavior can be unintuitive, confusing and in the worst case lead to bugs. In this post I wanna help clear some of them up!

📢📢I'm looking for a new job!📢📢

I'm an experienced leader & product-minded engineer deeply interested in collaboratively building useful products. With a background spanning small startups to scaling unicorns, I bring a wealth of experience in Elixir, Ruby, SQL and some JavaScript. I love Open Source, participating in the community and giving talks.

I'm now seeking new opportunities where I can leverage my skills and experience to make a meaningful impact. While I excel in roles like Staff+ Engineer, I'd love to explore opportunities in smaller companies or leadership positions such as CTO, Head of Engineering or Team Lead.

Related to my previous post, I can whole heartedly recommend @whereistanya's book "The Staff Engineer's Path" for everyone in engineering - probably everyone trying to navigate organization and succeed with initiatives and producing value.

It does a wonderful job of showcasing the ambiguities and challenges I’ve dealt with on the job & in technical leadership of organizations as a whole.

Great read!

Published: Tail-Recursive & Body-Recursive Function Performance Across Elixir & BEAM versions – what’s the impact of the JIT?

Watch me go through @elixir and erlang versions from 1.6 @ OTP 21 up to 1.16 @ OTP 26 and marvel at our performance gains.

The anti-patterns guide in the most recent @elixir release are an absolute joy to read and should be mandatory reading for everyone!

Love elixir's strong game when it comes to documentation!
