Ive been getting a bug where typing in the app, like a comment or something, if I repeatedly press backsapce to fix a typo or something, it will delete the spaces before words....
I have the same issue with the backspace thing. Luckily I have a second keyboard installed that doesnt have auto-correct and with this keyboard it works without problems.
I have this problem that I constantly go and start coding because I got an idea while some friends wanted to play something. I mostly keep myself under control with this but I cant play too much sessions when there arent enough people to encourage me in this state. But its not happening everyday.
My mom told me recently that I could go harvest Strawberries from a field and pay for each Kilo I harvest, but while I am harvesting I am allowed to eat as many strawberries as I want. I somehow still feel like this is not legit and there needs to be some sort of miscommunication.
Thats why ended up using Arch after so many distrohops over 3 years.
I never did dev on Windows except Python as a teen which should work good enough on Windows. But after using Linux for too long, the work experience I did was pain because of no relaxing features and everything crashed constantly.
Personally, I would really like to see Valve add a video capture feature. Like how on Xbox and PlayStation, you can press a button to record the last 30 seconds of gameplay. Something like this is almost impossible to do conviently on Steam Deck and just Linux systems in general. Valve adding it in natively to the Steam UI would...
Today I learned that its pain to play together when your friend has the nreal glasses and you the Deck.
Why? You can only mirror your screen in Desktop Mode and not gaming mode. The desktop mode is hard to use when you don't have an overlay, I think the asus rog would be easier to use without needing to close the game to navigate again. Big Picture in Desktop mode? Your game can be over it without having an overlay (played for the king).
I wish I also could easily duplicate the audio source with GUI instead of needing to google and use the terminal (but ateast its possible because no other platform can do this out of the box)
For VR Gaming, I installed https://ameliorated.io/ onto a fresh Windows 11. Seems to replace Edge with Firefox and more other programs with Open Source ones.
But what if you would do it manually? I guess on a Vanilla Windows its not even thaf easy or possible because Windows Updates tend to fix it. But i am just a Linux user who jist wants to play VR and not really use the Desktop
I've seen a lot of people who quite dislike Manjaro, and I'm not really sure why. I'm myself am not a Manjaro user, but I did use it for quite a while and enjoyed my experienced, as it felt almost ready out of the box. I'm not here to judge, just wanted to hear the opinion of the community on the matter. Thanks!
Used it for a year, hated it after the year (but enjoyed it while using because it was better than other distros becaus of Arch underneath).
Manjaro was always a hard and buggy mess to install something from the AUR or to change GPU drivers, its easy to break the system but in my Opinion Ubuntu is even easier to break and not understand what is going on.
Maybe its just me, maybe I need Arch, Debian or to fully set my system from the ground up. (I switched from Manjaro to Arch and never needed to reinstall Arch ever again compared to Manjaro)

What are your feature requests or improvements you'd like to see in Steam Deck?
