That lovely feeling when one is asked to attend a dinner/gala on behalf of a organization due to the work one does for LGBTQ+ in a certain capacity, then to be uninvited so those who are not members of the community can attend to make themselves feel good, and not be told one was uninvited until one asked when details / ticket was being provided ๐ซ
And event is in less than 2 weeks, hair appointment made, and one has connections to other orgs attending.

I am leading a internal trans 101 corporate training at my workplace. ๐ณ ๐คฏ
First time doing any type of training like this. So a bit nervous, however I had a PERFECT estrogen shot this morning (taking estrogen right before training, lol), so Iโm taking that as a good sign ๐
When I first came out, my wife gave me a lot of her clothes she no longer wore. Dresses, skirts, woman jeans, fancy blouses, those I got hooked to instantly.
However fitted tshirts, those triggered such intense dysphoria.
There were so many cute ones I kept them in a drawer.
The other day I went through my clothes. Some things donโt fit at all. However, fitted woman tshirts donโt trigger dysphoria now.
So. I have gone through a variety of surgeries in my life, both for gender affirming and non-gender affirming care.
Recently a local friend got told they need surgery. First time in their life. Needless to say they are a bit nervous, so I told them I would write a few notes down.
I may have gone overboard. ๐ฎโ
