That lovely feeling when one is asked to attend a dinner/gala on behalf of a organization due to the work one does for LGBTQ+ in a certain capacity, then to be uninvited so those who are not members of the community can attend to make themselves feel good, and not be told one was uninvited until one asked when details / ticket was being provided 🫠
And event is in less than 2 weeks, hair appointment made, and one has connections to other orgs attending.
