I get what the meme is saying, but community colleges don’t really need research scholars, they need great teachers with industry experience.

A viable option is to take the industry job, and then teach a class or two a year. Also, you can make connections at those community colleges and regional schools and advertise your internships and job postings.

Meaning you dance with a partner. I do not have a very much experience with it (about 16 lessons, with half of them being repeats). I go there with some people I know, but am not all too well acquainted with.

  • Assume you are the least experienced dancer of your acquaintance group.
  • Select the second-least experienced dancer of that group. That person will accept because they’ll look good by comparison.
  • Have fun just trying out the basics with them and laughing about it.

7 News Detroit asked Harris what was he thinking when he made his appearance in court via video where he was seen driving.

“What was I thinking? I was thinking about about getting my wife medical help. That’s what I was thinking,” Harris said. “I wasn’t thinking about the fact that I got a suspended license. I don’t care about all that.”

… Harris told us that he never should have been charged with driving on a suspended license last fall, and he blames the mix-up on Saginaw Friend of the Court.

“They were supposed to have been lifted it two years ago, but they didn’t,” Harris said.

Secretary of State records show Harris’ license was first suspended in 2010 for unpaid child support in Saginaw County.

Then in 2022, court records show that a judge rescinded that suspension, allowing Harris to drive again. But it appears that information never got to the Secretary of State where even as of Thursday afternoon, Harris’ license is still listed as suspended — the same records police and the judge were going by.

Yeah, I just watched this yesterday and “pretty corny” is a good way of describing it. Like these guys kidnap an engineer who developed this world-changing tech, along with a priceless USB stick and then… just let him go. After he threatened to call the police on them. (I mean, he technically IS the police…) And the Die Antwoord hideout looks like Peewee’s Playhouse. And the robot makes stunning scientific breakthroughs overnight with some spare parts and internet searches.

But the graphics were good and the basic idea was neat. I kind of liked the fact that none of the characters were likeable, since I’m into “Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. The movie paid off in the “gangsta robot” scenes, I think the movie would have been better if they’d focused on that.

My cousin made me watch an episode of Devilman Crybaby. It wasn’t really my thing, but yeah the visuals were outstanding. I look forward to seeing what becomes of this.
