Here’s a video of my workflow if anyone’s interested! All the credit for the gorgeous implementation of the tiling goes to the devs over at PaperWM! Better than some tiling WMs that I’ve tried!
I tried POP_OS Shell too, but the animations were just way too janky for me, and I didn’t like that. I tried out Forge and some others but they were all pretty much the same. PaperWM on the other hand takes a completely different approach and stacks them in an infinite horizontal scrollable list. After using this implementation for a couple of weeks, I just can’t go back to anything else at all!
As an update to my previous post, automatic recoloring based on a palette now works. I will be fine-tuning how the program decides between replacement colors. Suggestions for color palettes are very welcome....
This Apollo inspired Lemmy website can be installed as a webapp on any phone, and it works flawlessly and has a beautiful design. Currently, it's the best Lemmy app. I highly recommend it.
Are you guys tired of the "Material You" design? I don't really like the huge paddings on everything aspect of it. Also a lot of it feels too flat. What do you guys think?
I didn’t like it a ton initially, but after seeing the new Sync for Reddit redesign, and seeing how perfectly they’ve implemented it, I love it. Props to the Sync dev, they really got the idea behind Material You. Can’t wait for the alpha of Sync for Lemmy.
With a lot of talk around new apps in development & coming on stream, something I’ve been happy to see, & commented on, as choice is always a good thing… I thought I’d just voice my appreciation for the Jerboa team, love this App, such nice Ui & UX, I find it very easy to use, all the view options, post layouts, especially...
I did ask them about this in the Discord server, but they aren't planning on this. Apparently, the cost would be quite a bit higher than the subscription, and they wouldn't be profitable. They are keeping it open for the future, if it becomes easier to monetize, but they don't have any plans for it as of right now.

The Apollo inspired wefwef.app is the best Lemmy app/webapp right now, and its not even close. (lemmy.world)

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: Several Animators Claim They Worked Under Unsustainable Conditions - IGN (www.ign.com)
I need to survive for 3 days without pooping, and eating as little as possible. I can pee, but not very often. It can't take up too much space. What food do I pack?
Please don't ask why I need this....
