UprisingVoltage,

You can check here plexus.techlore.tech and ask on the lineageos community forums (lemmy, reddit ecc)

It’s best if you have a test device to try them on though

UprisingVoltage,

I’ve played it for the first time a month ago. I really wanted to love it. Not my cup of tea unfortunately, I’m really upset about it (about the fact I did not like it, not about the game)

UprisingVoltage,

Izzy, bitwarden, newpipe, collabora office

UprisingVoltage,

Yeah, I hear it often from people who tried it. Still worth a shot once in a while, as long as they keep updating it

"How to bypass and block infuriating cookie popups" 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh the hilarious irony. Can anyone recommend an up to date Firefox addon that gets rid of these fucking popups, automatically declining all but necessary? I've looked at a few but I remember folks here recommending some that I can't now for the life if me remember what they were. Thanks!

UprisingVoltage,

This is the best way. If the cookie popup isn’t blocked, go in ublock settings and enable the adguard annoyances lists

Screensh

If it’s still not blocked do it yourself with the element picker (not zapper), takes a second

UprisingVoltage,

Fyi you don’t need two adblockers on the same browser. They use the same lists anyways, you’re using double the resources and improving load times for no real benefit

UprisingVoltage,

Understood. It’s fine to not follow the “best practices” if our use case requires otherwise. The important thing is to be aware of it!

UprisingVoltage,

Currently entering the herculean effort phase, wish me luck

UprisingVoltage,

About reducing useless extensions, please don’t use nor recommend cookie autodelete and I don’t care about cookies (which has been acquired by avast or some similar company iirc).

Firefox (and any other modern browser) has settings to delete website cookies on exit and to block third party cookies, while giving the ability to whitelist for both features.

For the annoying cookie popups just enable the adguard annoyances lists in ublock origin, which you already want to install on a browser anyways.

UprisingVoltage,

Interesting, thanks for sharing

Thoughts on BOOX Tab Ultra C? (shop.boox.com)

Does anyone here have a BOOX e-paper tablet? I’m a big fan of e-paper devices—I love my Pebble smartwatch, Kindle Paperwhite, and Light Phone II. I’ve been eyeing the Tab Ultra C for quite a while, and I am considering the pros and cons. Mostly, I intend to use it for browsing the web and maybe some light note taking and...
