Das ist genau mein Kritikpunkt, wenn solche Diskussionen aufkommen. Ein BGE kann nur funktionieren, wenn "der Markt" strenger reguliert wird und das Streben nach Gewinnmaximierung gezwungenermaßen einer gesünderen Alternative weicht. Das wiederum könnte in unserer globalisierten Welt erst dann passieren, wenn sich international alle Regierungen darauf einigen und das ist noch utopischer als die Idee eines BGE selbst.

I love it! In a world that's geared towards constantly bombarding us with stuff we don't want anything to do with, this is the most Studion Gibli thing I can think of. This anti-promotion is the best kind of promotion and perfectly encapsulates the kind of social critique Miyazaki is so well known for. All while being a publicity stunt in itself, he manages to hold up this mirror to the landscape of modern advertising by deciding to not even pick up the figurative mirror in the first place. You just gotta love this man sometimes. I can't wait to watch this movie.
Heute: Wraps. Tortillas gefüllt mit gebratenem Faschierten (zu deutsch: Hackfleisch?), Salat, Zwiebeln, Bohnen und Mais, dazu diverse Soßen aus diversen Tuben
Morgen: Kartoffel-Karottensuppe, dazu Weißbrot (ob einfach so oder als croûtons steht noch aus)
Mittwoch: Schinken-Käse-Toasts mit Farmerschinken und Gouda (merkt man, dass sowohl ich als auch meine bessere Hälfte mittwochs länger arbeiten?)
Donnerstag: keine Ahnung
Freitag: wahrscheinlich was vom Lieferdienst, alternativ auswärts essen gehen (je nach Wetter)
Samstag: Lammkrone mit Ofengemüse (Kartoffeln und Karotten, zwecks aufbrauchen des überschüssigen Zeugs für die Suppe am Dienstag)

I've recently picked up Berserk again. It's one of my all time favourites, in my Top 3 at least. I don't think I'd have the love and appreciation I have for Mangas as a whole today if it wasn't for the incredible work Miura delivered with this epic tale....

The outlook of having to use the official Reddit mobile app. No thanks. Even if the Fediverse only has a tiny fraction of the user base of Reddit, I'll still encounter more original content in an hour on here than I'd come across during a whole day on the ad-infested active battery-drainage that is Reddit's sorry excuse for a mobile app.
I just loved the gameplay in Anthem. Not particularly the loop, the grinding, the enemy "variety" or mission design. But the base of it all, the flying and hovering and fighting. Especially the idea of turning the common formula around by making the combat ability focused with guns being more like support items, instead of focusing on shooting and using your abilities in between (like in Destiny 2 or The Division, for example).
The game really is the prime example of "wasted potential" when it comes to video games.
I just wish it would've been developed by a company with more experience in online multi-player games and released by a publisher that's less egregiously openly focused on maximizing profit above everything else like EA.
Please, in the name of everything holy, not another Super Hero Comic property. Marvel fatigue is a thing and I really can't be assed to voluntarily expose myself to any more Red/Golden Exo-suits, lightning channeling Vikings, spandex wearing human arachnids, Frisbee throwing patriots, talking raccoons, people with all the neon bright skin colors of Las Vegas at night and endless, pointless, aneurism triggering technobabble.
