apprehensively_human,

Fastest checkout in the West. I’m really looking forward to spinning this one when it arrives.

apprehensively_human,

Why exactly do we need an announcement for an upcoming trailer?

apprehensively_human,

Is there no way to wishlist this? I really want to snag one as soon as they’re available.

apprehensively_human,

I can’t even think about doing anything productive without coffee or tea in my hands.

apprehensively_human,

Really tame vanilla stuff over here, I’m seeing debian-12.1.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso

apprehensively_human,

I kept mine on my keychain for the longest time until it got me right under one of my finger nails. The amount of times I’ve had to use it does not justify that trauma.

apprehensively_human,

I can feel this. I remember my very first launch I went to the Attlerock which gave me a nice view of Timber Hearth, but I was so excited to go exploring space I didn’t bother looking around my own home planet until hours later.

apprehensively_human,

SimCity’s core gameplay loop was so satisfying but you could only play for a few hours before there was nothing else to do.

I loved seeing the sewer and water overlay showing globs of liquid moving through the pipes and slowly making its way to and from all the different buildings.

The speed limit on all residential streets should be at the very most 30km/h year round. Since I started active commuting every day, I’ve noticed how alarmingly scary it is going 50 when I do have to drive. Reaction times at that speed do not allow for the amount of braking distance required.

Just because it may not be trying to get you to buy Coca-Cola doesn’t mean it isn’t an ad.

Normalize cycling as a mode of transport and not just an activity for the wealthy.

The moral panic slippery slope of: Pilots shouldn’t be using psychedelics therefor nobody should be using psychedelics.

And in any case, the article states that he wasn’t even a member of the flight crew but was sitting in the jump seat and had been operating on 40 hours without any sleep and didn’t say when he actually consumed the mushrooms.

apprehensively_human,

People living along roads that get “improvements” see their property tax go up to cover the expense, but the people who actually use the damn things don’t have to spend a dime. It’s a no brainer that people choose to live in tax subsidy zones where everything is shiny and new and they can just use the new highway to commute to work anyway.

Meanwhile it’s an unavoidable tragedy when people inevitably get struck and killed by cars since we’ve taken away everything that makes being a human person with two legs worthwhile and given it to cars instead.

apprehensively_human,

Today I felt that small twinge of motivation to start cleaning so you better believe I latched on to that feeling and didn’t let go until the dishes were washed, laundry was done, floors were cleaned and rugs were vacuumed.

I fully expect not to feel this again for weeks.

You can set up an instance that doesn’t allow regular users to register. CBC would host and could create as many of its own accounts as necessary, and users from other instances could follow those accounts.

apprehensively_human,

I seem to remember something similar a little while ago except it was like a pair of shoes or something.

Edit: It was Lil Nas X and his Satan Nikes.

This is into the realm of semantics now but it isn’t even called the first amendment.

From Wikipedia: An Act to amend and continue the Act 32–33 Victoria chapter 3; and to establish and provide for the Government of the Province of Manitoba, 1870.

apprehensively_human,

The difference isn’t really that different in dark mode, but it’s still noticeable.
I like it.

apprehensively_human,

The clock in my car always tends to drift over time, so every now and then when I’d take lunch I would make sure to be tuned in to the time signal on the road.

spoilerA conscious observer has entered the eye. I wonder what happens now.

spoilerTalking to all the travelers at the end of the universe where time may not exist, getting them to start playing their music together. I cried.

apprehensively_human,

Oliver’s commentary and sense of humour are perfect, I love him.
After I watched this entire playlist I started on his Subnautica playthrough

apprehensively_human,

You’re right. We should be removing their eyes!
