Can we get 80 on mount Osmond road please?? It’s only 50 now and it’s just pathetic. Now obviously I’m not expecting everyone to be able to hold 80 the entire time, but there are some sections of road where doing 50 is a snails pace and the cars go even slower around corners so upping it to 80 would just stop the crawling...
Who uses a mouse? I function all applications with just a keyboard, my custom arch based distribution doesn’t even support mice because I removed all drivers from the kernel. /s
I’m in my 30s so I should be used to this by now, but this shit is getting so stressful guys. I have no savings, my checking account is drained every month with rent, and if there’s ever a serious emergency I have no safety net, I’m legitimately fucked. I’m one unplanned expense away from absolute ruin. Those in the same...
Asked for the lyrics to Happy by Pharell Williams. It said, sorry I can’t, so I forced it to by saying, but you can, and it apologised and started writing but it got force stopped by chatgpt because it violated content policy.
I’m not trying to cause an argument but when Reddit pulled it’s bs - I said that’s enough. I gave up my Reddit addiction and didn’t open it or visit the site for over 30 days....
But that’s not the case very often - you can live your life and a protest won’t stop the murderers.
Protesting is ineffective full stop. In any scenario, I don’t care if it’s conservatives trying to ban abortion or transgender begging not to be killed.
The most effective way to do things still stands: write a letter to your senator, and vote for senators with your views. If you don’t live in a democracy, plot a revolution and fight for your right to vote, which is something the North Koreans would do if they knew.
So you expect us to live in a virtual pod with a treadmill and grow all of our own food? And collect rainwater?
Edit: I’m not saying we shouldn’t reduce our need for freight. Growing food in your backyard (half of my yard is good production) reduces the need for freight emissions. And I cycle to work. But drive or fly on holidays, I wish we had a more reliable train network.
Are you trying to say that took no effort? Instrumental went hard and the talkbox would have taken some time to develop progression. Especially in the 90s, where digital music technology wasn’t widely available. Today, a song like that would be no big deal but at the time, “Around The World” was much ahead of its time.

I ignore them. Since January 2022 I’ve used exclusively macOS & Linux and you can’t go wrong with that. macOS for my daily driver work laptop (M1 MacBook Pro) and Arch Linux for my home server, though I do enjoy using it a lot for work and if this mac ever stops working I will definitely build a framework Linux laptop. Nothing comes close to FoSS, don’t have to put up with most of this proprietary business-oriented software.

Our goal is to peacefully encourage more people to cycle and convince car owners to use their car for less trips when viable to do so. A lot of people own cars, would calling them Nazis really help our cause?
My vision is we make cyclists and public transit users look like responsible happy citizens and attract jealousy of those stuck in traffic.
Set mount Osmond road to 80 km/h!!

Is anyone else having trouble giving up Reddit due to content?
