📱 In liegen Tausende iPads in Schulen herum, die noch nicht herausgegeben wurden. Es fehlt an Lehrkräften, um die Geräte einzurichten. Die Stadt hat bis zum 4. Dezember Zeit, die Tablets an den Start zu bringen, sonst muss sie das gesamte Fördergeld zurückzahlen.

Aktuelle Fälle zeigen: Bei der der Schulen hapert es nicht nur an Geld. Der Deutsche Städtetag warnt davor, dass die Digitalisierung der Schulen stocken könnte.

Tausende iPads ungenutzt. An Schulen in Wuppertal liegen Tausende iPads herum, die noch nicht herausgegeben wurden. Einfach weil es nicht genug Lehrkräfte gibt, die die Geräte einrichten und verteilen können. Und an einer Gesamtschule in Köln muss sich ein Lehrer um 600 Tablets kümmern. Die Fälle zeigen: In Sachen Digitalisierung hapert es nicht nur an Geld. In vielen Fällen fehlen auch Lehrkräfte, die mit der Technik umgehen können. Deshalb warnt der Deutsche Städtetag davor, dass die Digitalisierung der Schulen stocken könnte. Denn Fördergeld wurde bislang häufig für Geräte ausgegeben und seltener für die Ausbildung von Lehrkräften. Die Städte fordern deshalb mehr Unterstützung von der Bundesregierung.

@tagesschau Das sollten Lehrkräfte gar nicht machen. Um das Gebäude kümmert sich ja auch ein Hausmeister

    @jynersolives Twitter, I have a well-curated timeline and it's got the most diverse kinds of accounts and contents, official accounts, artists, news, etc, from all over the world, in all kind of languages and it's got a well working translation feature.
    Tumblr is nice, too, because it's crazy, but it gets too American sometimes.
    Discord is a little like forums back in the day, but often very quiet, and very American at times, too.
    Haven't tried BlueSky yet.

    Li LianHua from reminds me both of Xiao Se of and somehow Ji Li, and it really keeps throwing me off.

    @stygianselkie I've seen him in Hikaru No Go (which is really good, btw), but also mostly his own videos and stuff. I'm not quite sure what it is that reminds me of him. Maybe his face is similar to the actor's?
    So Li LianHua sometimes reminds me of Ji Li, in his looks. And sometimes, in his manners and personality, of Xiao Se.
    I agree it's a strange combination, that's why it throws me off sometimes. 😆

    I have since been told those songs were often written in English by non-native speakers. That catchy tunes were more important than lyrics because it was very important to get radio play, since it was before streaming. As an example "Rock Me Amadeus" was named. That all that music was written before globalisation and English was not a universal language back then.
    But best of all: "30-40 years before most of us were even alive"

    @liztai They not only have the newest episodes for VIP users only, but they also start putting older episodes behind a paywall after a few days, each day one episode more.
    So you can only watch for free if you watch within a certain time span, and if you're too slow, something came up or you start a little later... bad luck.

    @liztai I only knew the version where you have to pay for the newest episodes (and I'm finde with that), so it was a surprise and a bummer to see them lock older ones, too.
    I just really don't want to pay half a dozen subcriptions...
