The "Students against the Occupation" (by Israel of Palestine) protest camp at Copenhagen University are packing up and leaving, because "We have received concessions that are going in the right direction now. We have created momentum. So now it's about making an effort in other ways", says spokesperson Asger Trier Kjær to the Ritzau news agency.

Their demands included that the university would end its investments in companies profiting off of the Israeli-occupied West Bank of Palestine and the university has announced that it will no longer invest in funds which have Airbnb, Booking.com and eDreams in their portfolios.
Other demands however have not been met yet such as the demands that the university "recognizes and condemns the ongoing genocide and calls for an immediate ceasefire", which the university rejects doing.

The "Students against the Occupation" also say that they will keep watching to ensure the university lives up to its promises and that "we are ready to set up [the protest tent camp] again".

'Graduation ceremony at Kobanê University
[...]
Kobanê University Co-President, Şervan Muslim, said: “The graduation of 250 students is very important and the product of the revolution. The years of struggle and resistance, the legacy of thousands of martyrs and the fact that thousands of people came together today and attended the graduation ceremony of 250 students shows us a lot.”'

The city Kobanê/Kobanî is not only where the legendary resistance for the first time broke the until then actually seemingly unstoppable advance of ISIL/Daesh leading to ISIL's later territorial defeat, but ISIL-collaborator Erdoğan's forces has also since then kept bombing civilians of the city, in what many have said seems to be retaliation for the defeat of ISIL, sometimes up to several times weekly.
Yet, they rise.

From today the feudal knighthood system has returned to Sweden after being abolished for 50 years.
Now four active knighthood orders of Sweden being handed out by the King, the Royal Order of Vasa (created 1772), Royal Order of the Polar Star (1748), Royal Order of the Sword and Royal Order of the Seraphim (1748).

Today the members of "music" group ABBA were handed "Commander of the Vasa Order First Class" insignia.
Others getting thus designated better than us include a business manager Thomas Sjöström made a "Knight of the Vasa Order",
a Bettan Byvald apparently a social worker made "Knight of the Vasa Order First Class",
Eva Rydberg made "Knight Commander of the Vasa Order" for stage acting work,
while Capitalist Antonia Ax:son Johnson was made "Commander of the Vasa Order with Grand Cross" (highest) after inheriting a huge wealth and then using that to for decades out-compete smaller retailers so that for example during latest inflation crisis the domination with about 20% of the food retailer market (one of many fields where Antonia's group holds a dominant share) enabled being among the primary divers of adding yet more inflation devastating the poor by extraordinary profit extraction during that time.

If they get to restore the feudal times system,
do we get to restore guillotines?

b9AcE,
@b9AcE@todon.eu avatar

Note: The "getting thus designated better than us" is not just my view, but that it didn't "belong in modern times" to through knighthood orders of chivalric ranks, noble titles and such "designate some people as others' betters" was the reason that system was abolished half a century ago in Sweden, until these horribly reactionary authoritarian times made it seem morally acceptable to have these fossils of humankind's worst literally mass-murderous oppression system of the past be reanimated, today.

That was the whole point. We were taught in school how this is (they said) an equal society because those knighthoods were abolished. That was the sign. Was. Now, restored by reactionaries.

Local elections are scheduled to be held in the autonomous North and East Syria (previously named "Rojava") on June 11 throughout the area which has made very clear from the start that it does not seek to split off into a separate State because they don't want States because States are bad for people, but as through all its existence remain open to Syria keeping its claim of being a "State" over the area as long as the locals get to keep their local self-rule on the pillars of democratic confederalism, feminism, environmentalism and peaceful coexistence in diversity, which bloody dictator al-Assad has of course denied the people as that denial is the essence of the whole revolution.

So in response dictator Erdoğan of Turkey declares local elections in North and East Syria to be a terrorist "aggression", a threat against Turkey and against the "territorial integrity of Syria" which Erdoğan has illegally invaded with express intent of annexing large areas from.

Some reporting and comments here https://medyanews.net/aanes-executive-council-rebukes-turkish-security-council-says-turkey-seeks-to-divide-syria/

Another article on that NATO-dictator and Putin-buddy Erdoğan of Turkey is threatening further aggression against the self-liberated democratic confederalist Women's Revolution in North and East Syria (initially called "Rojava") because scheduled local elections are going ahead.
https://medyanews.net/erdogan-says-elections-in-north-and-east-syria-threaten-turkish-national-security/

Surreal statements of the war criminal claim that those local elections are "aggressive actions against the territorial integrity of Turkey and Syria under the pretext of a referendum".
Firstly, you invaded Syria. Shut up.
Secondly, it's not a referendum you big dumdum, it's local elections, with 5331 candidates https://hawarnews.com/en/election-campaign-for-ne-syria-municipal-elections-kicks-off over 2013 electoral boxes https://hawarnews.com/en/1792-centers-and-2013-electoral-boxes-in-ne-syria.

This is beginning to sound like the flimsy pretext used by Nobel Peace Prize winner Abiy Ahmed to start the Tigray Genocide, blaming that a region held elections (which had been planned for all Ethiopia but then when it became clear Abiy might lose power canceled) and the elections were declared a "threat" so after them Ethiopia, Eritrea and others with Turkey's arms came with clear intent to commit genocide and did commit crimes against humanity.

During the ceremony promoting people to doctorates at the Lund University, southern Sweden, which the police blamed for storming the protest camp against Israel's ongoing genocidal warfare, some of those being promoted to doctors displayed support for Palestine during the traditional procession through the park where the protest camp was, reports TT news agency.

Pic (my translation): "A large police presence was on location at Friday's doctoral promotion in Lundagård in central Lund. Before the promotion, the police cordoned off and evacuated the pro-Palestinian tent camp which existed between the University House [presumably meaning "Lund University Main Building"] and the [Lund] Cathedral."

I want every military and military-like organization and tool to be abolished,
but it must be done in the order of the oppression-imposing aggressor forces first and the antiauthoritarian defenders last, because the opposite order simply does not work.

An excellent example is the HPC-Jin, the women's section of the HPC, Civil Defense Forces pf the autonomous democratic confederalism North and East Syria (a.k.a. "Rojava"), which is kinda similar to the "Home Guard" that some States have, but with the largest difference being not wanting a State because States are a bad idea.

I wanted to mention them and their people's war mobilization in defense of nature and their homes from expanding imperialist war of aggression by Erdoğan, because I saw this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUwC3dexN6k video in their as usual multitude of languages as coexistence in diversity is a core value of the Rojava Revolution, about the importance of nature.

Soo, how's my new computer build Eir (yes, the name you chose https://todon.eu/@b9AcE/112401550967112867) doing?

Well, I switched Eir's body to be my previous case Fractal Design Define 7 Gray Solid (https://www.fractal-design.com/products/cases/define/define-7/gray-solid/) because it's just so amazingly easy to build and change stuff in,
then I upgraded the to the generally current best mainstream CPU-sockets CPU-cooler "Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120"(https://www.thermalright.com/product/peerless-assassin-120/) and the generally best case fans currently in existence "Arctic P14 PWM" (https://www.arctic.de/en/P14-PWM/ACFAN00124A/) in all 5 slots that I can fit a fan in with the solid top cover on (I prefer it to the ventilated top panel for protection against dust and potential liquid spills) attached with Noctua NA-SAV2 (https://noctua.at/en/na-sav2) rubber straps instead of screws.
Not a perceivable noise during normal operations and at 100% CPU use compiling on all cores fans ramp up so CPU package never goes hotter than 70°C with PBO on and turboing up to peaks of 5 GHz.
Eir is doing… very well. :-))

I'm quite certain that if I would be using pretty much any other case than the spectacularly excellent Define 7, I would just not be able to deal with (re)building any computer with my visual impairment although it takes like 10 times longer than it used to.
Very much recommended (the case, not visual impairment).
