It seems very likely that a major , if not the largest, obstacle against world "leaders" ceasing to aid genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity against the Palestinian People by Israel is that any change of policy in the direction towards justice may be considered to implicitly signal admission of previous complicity in those crimes, which is true.

That is the same conundrum as is extremely probably the main obstacle against same world "leaders" removing the entirely baseless "terror"-label that they applied against the PKK solely because PKK's counterpart in an armed conflict, Turkey, demanded it in order for NATO to keep military basing right, EU to keep accession process going, etc.

They can't change policy, because doing so would not just be a huge loss of politicians' primary currency, personal prestige, but also result in a drastic risk of them being prosecuted at the Hague, which de jure they should.

Nechirvan Barzani, the current Quisling for Turkey in the "Kurdistan Region of Iraq", today went to visit Turkey's covert ally Iran.
Turkey's and Iran's governments and militaries have on several issues but in particular for the purpose of continued genocides had a long history of cooperating, for example through coordinated and even joint military attacks against both civilian and guerrilla ethnic and other persecuted minorities.

They didn't have a choice.
That choice was made by the DNC.

So is it the DNC's fault?
A bit but mostly nah actually.
The DNC of course traditionally cares nothing for political principles, the populace or most anything really except for one thing: to grab and hold power, which it believes must be done through selling out all supposed ideological values to lobbyists and similar villains, if that seems to lead to more party power.

The ones whose fault it will be, is the people who kept screaming "vote blue no matter who" and bullying anyone who said they would not be voting for a knowing accessory to genocide, crimes against humanity, etc, Biden,
because those few but extremely loud and immoral voices kept giving the DNC the impression that Biden was a viable option,
instead of saying no, never again, early, so that a viable candidate, one with a functioning moral compass and at least somewhat leftish ideas, like AOC, Tlaib, Sanders or Omar, would have been picked and instead have easily won if properly backed.

The "temporary" border restrictions that have been essentially constant since they were officially introduced to obstruct asylum-seekers from using their universal human rights by law to movement and to seek asylum with due process in Sweden since the formerly leftish "Social Democrat" party finally turned right-wing on that and other issues around 2014-2016,
have today been "temporarily" extended by the right/far-right government again.

As a supposed core of EU was the freedom of travel for people, added as a PR-thing to get more countries to join what was previously just freedom of movement for Capital and Capitalists, has thus been slowly unofficially but definitely removed from the EU and it is now only freedom of movement for Capital and some people but not not undesirables, specifically targeting specifically e.g. Roma people and refugees.
The EU did several years ago demand that Sweden, Denmark and Austria had to stop using the amount of people applying for asylum as continuing reason as keeping on using the same reason made it non-temporary but permanent which they said violated EU's laws,
so they just changed the stated reasons to undefined "security issues" which of course due to lack of definition can be constantly claimed to be ongoing.

Geesh, it's exhausting trying to build a computer by the sense of touch (visually impaired) and the rest with +12 glasses.
Starting fully rested just after a full night of sleep, I got as far as getting the motherboard in the case and attaching the motherboard+CPU power connectors before I just collapsed, panting, just from visual fatigue and slept for ~2 hours.
Only halfway to go, before I get to find out if my chosen RAM has too aggressive latency timings.
And to think I used to do this for fun...

Well... Finished building the new AMD 8700G desktop computer at about 5 in the morning, then set manufacturer recommended but technically "overclocking" of FCLK=2400 and PBO enabled as well as using the EXPO RAM profile the RAM-manufacturer intended even though neither motherboard-, CPU-nor RAM-manufacturer had listed that 2*32GB 6000MT/s @ CL30 DDR5 as verified working together (nothing else changed impacting performance),
then installed Win10 and all current hardware drivers as well as ran motherboard manufacturer's own cooling-fans autotune, in order to be able to run Cinebench benchmarks for comparison with the 7 CPU-generations older desktop I have been on.

Multiple Cinebench 2024 runs both with all normal software running as well as after exiting all other software incl in systray but not stopping services.

Specially heavily armed police called to the scene against Greta Thunberg among 50-20 others including scientists as about 08:45 this morning they began blockading the parliament of Sweden in defense of our shared habitat.
Police didn't actively act against the demo because "The assessment is that they do not directly interfere with the activities of the parliament and even if the gathering does not have a permit they have constitutionally protected rights, so it is those they can use", said the police's spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
At 12:05 the gathering had dissolved itself according to police, which has filed a report of public order violation.

For the the very correctly chosen and reasonable act of blockading the place where the self-declared responsible ruling politicians irresponsibly are currently dismantling environmental protection in Sweden, while the world is increasingly simultaneously burning and drowning, the Parliament building, and obvious act of urgent defense of others' lives (see earlier in thread),
Greta Thunberg was today sentenced to yet another fine.

Huge political strikes wave to begin on Tuesday in Finland, against the right/far-right government's plans to ban political strikes and other severe deteriorations for the people.

It will take the form of a 24 hour strike per wave of locations which then moves on to other locations.

The severe deteriorations to the right to strike proposed by the far-right/right-wing government of Finland were now approved by the parliament.
For example political strikes will not be allowed to last more than 24 hours, which makes them absolutely pointless and will have the same potential for effect as if that right to strike had been officially abolished, but the right-wing is too cowardly to show the people how it harms the entire populace for Capital's short-term profit extraction.

Several experts have pointed out that this law is of course in violation of both intl law and constitution, but far-right being by definition elitists don't care about laws if those protect regular people, only if it benefits themselves and theirs.

They also decided that a worker that continues to be in a strike if it has been deemed "illegal" by Capital's guard-dog the State, then the worker must pay the employer that they were striking against €200, per person.

The vote count was 107 against the productive classes versus 57 for.
