Alan Turing literally had to write lisp by hand in his 1938 Princeton PhD thesis… like he was bad at typing so hired someone to type it on a typewriter but there were no keys for lambda so the typist just left spacebars for him to write in the functions by hand later…. 🤯 and any little mistake Alonzo Church would catch and make him correct.

@naturzukunft cooooooool thanks for taking a look. wrt C2S tests, no that is not in scope in the near future.

Earlier tonight I also pushed a new version of this page and now it tags some requirements with ActivityPubClient https://activitypub-testing-website.socialweb.coop/conformance/requirements/

That might be useful for C2S testers, but I won't be doing it soon.

@naturzukunft @steve the client to server interactions section contains requirements that apply to the server.

I misinterpreted the question maybe. In scope is testing C2S Server requirements. Out of scope is testing C2S Client requirements.

@steve @naturzukunft yesterday I published a change to this page so now every requirement is tagged with either ActivityPubClient or ActivityPubServer. We can also add a C2S tag and then the intersection of those two tags sounds like a way of querying for what you describe.

@naturzukunft @steve It's a list of the conformance requirements in the ActivityPub spec. I admit they could be rendered better. Sorry about that.

The requirements are the subset of behaviors described by the spec that are required via RFC2119 'MUST'. This doc has a bit more explaining 'behaviors' including the reuqired ones. https://socialweb.coop/activitypub/behaviors/
