Part of our moving to the is because it’s historically cooler. Global warming fucked that. I don’t know what we’re gonna do. I barely made it out of the last one.

@evanwolf thank you for advocating for this! The current infrastructure in the PNW for historic heat events just isn’t in place and so many people are in danger. Global warming is real and cities need to start prioritizing it.

First photoshoot in over two years! I was inspired to create a submission for an upcoming online gala event about opulent masks. I crafted the mask out of polymer clay & tack nails, & painted it gold. I cannot stress enough how much I love creating props for my photoshoots!
My very beautiful fiancée Iris, who has never modeled before, absolutely nailed it (tack nail pun intended lol) and I could not be prouder of her!

I’m Jewish. I’m trans. I’m queer. I’m disabled. I’ve seen the fascism warning signs for a long time now, and have written about it at length. Fascism is here. Now. All the anti-trans legislation, removal of reproductive rights, etc, IS fascism. If you’re waiting for them to forcibly load you on trains to take you to camps for you to recognize that it’s here, that will be too late.

@haraldhux thank you so much 🖤 I’m safe…..ish. My partner (a trans woman) has been looking for employment for the better part of a year and has run into some blatant transphobia in her job hunt (marketing/graphic design/social media management), to the point that we’ve been on the razors edge of homelessness every single month for a year. She’s so talented, but we’re scared every month that this will be the month we can’t make rent. We’re exhausted. So, we’re safe-ish….for now.

    Career Artist Unpopular Opinion: Submission fees for grants & exhibitions are a (usually) predatory practice & uphold the ableist, racist, & classist status quo in the art scene. While I understand the necessity of them in certain circumstances, if you’re then not offering assistance to historically marginalized & underrepresented groups, ur apart of the problem.

    The barriers to entry are real, & your one-off “diversity” exhibit does not absolve you of your discriminatory practices.
