  • My wife's boss (well, ex-boss as my wife handed her resignation in)
  • Traits in PHP
  • Inheritence in OO languages

Points 2 and 3 above are interconnected in a thing I'm working on and it's a nightmare

I'm absolutely exhausted. Last night a really close friend had a medical emergency, and they still haven't figured out whats wrong.

I'm currently staying in their apartment and baby sitting their two children while their staying at the hospital.

Trying to sleep but I'm just so worried.

Lately life has been full of unexpected events.

I've got a Seiko SKX007J that needs repairing

The cost to repair it is as much as I paid for it in the first place

But they've been discontinued, and it's the rarer Japanese model (and it's now 2-3x more expensive to buy one used)

I love that watch and want to wear it, might have to bite the bullet and just pay up to get it fixed

I often tell people that it's better to rest and recover, than to push through, heal slower and/or do work you aren't proud of.
