Then maybe the downloaded packages are actually corrupted. You could check if they have plausible file sizes. IIRC pacman will ask you if you want to delete the non-matching files but I’m not entirely sure. They should end up in /var/cache/pacman/pkg.

Unfortunately I can’t help you but I’d be very interested in your hearing aids, since mine will have to be replaced soon.

Are they always connected? Can you listen to music and make calls with them? What is the battery life like? If you used Bluetooth (or wired) headphones: how do they compare in audio quality? Are they directly connected to the phone or do they still need that thing you have to wear around your neck? Which brand/model are they?

Unfortunately the manufacturer doesn’t offer support or replacement parts anymore. My acoustician could semi-fix them for now but I’d rather trial new ones on my own terms and not when I have to.

Witzig, so was ähnliches hab ich auch, aber nach suspend to RAM. Das Gerät hat einen Touchscreen und wenn ich da einmal irgendwo drauf tippe geht’s wieder.

Also ich kann mich in GDM anmelden (wobei ich da aber nichts mit dem Touchpad mache), ich kann den Cursor bewegen, aber Klicks (weder als Tap noch als Touchpad-Click) funktionieren einfach nicht.

I can relate, between work and chores, there’s not much time left. The last time I really played was back in school, with people I’ve lost contact with. If I wanted to play now, realistically I’d have to DM which brings us back to the whole lack of time thing.

• For your first point you’d probably want to investigate why your system doesn’t suspend or what exactly is going on. You could check logind.conf, specifically the HandleLidSwitch* keys. Otherwise, your lid switch should have a corresponding /dev/input/ event that you could maybe listen to or something.
• I can’t offer much input on your second point. I think unplugging the audio jack should probably trigger a udev event that you could write a rule for. No idea about wireplumber though.

Most store bought pesto contains some form of cheese, like parmesan, mozzarella or ricotta, depending on the type. At least around here.
