Lazy non-binary person dinner: open faced veggie sushi. Is my knife technique perfect? No, but it’s pretty good for a first try.

Same but an areal view instead of an angled one. The pink pickled ginger is at 1:00
My left hand is holding up a broken ring of cucumber that I had made from turning a cucumber section into a sheet of lasagna pasta for julienning. You keep going around the circumference of the cucumber in one long strip until you get to the seeds. It’s a little uneven but overall almost pretty uniform.

@shekinahcancook I have gotten SO much use out of these fidgets already. And based on how I use them, I’m able to tell where I am in regard to nervous system regulation. They’re a gauge for me to know how to proceed. And I am so grateful to you for them.

Two mounds of rice next to each other that look like a butt on a charcoal plate-bowl. At 12:00 is the bulgogi. At 1:30 is carrot slaw. At 4 is the ginger garlic sesame kale. At 6 is shaved sesame cucumbers. 7:30 is pickled white radish that is yellow. At 9:00 is seated garlix broccoli. The rice is topped with black sesame seeds and a drizzle of yum yum sauce

@shekinahcancook Thanks so much! There was juuuuust enough bulgogi to have a bite in every serving. There are just so many micronutrients in this dish and so much fiber and so much flavor.
