cryomancer20x6,

I’m probably gonna get downvoted to hell for this, but I’m just gonna say it. Far left and far right more or less do not exist in the US as far as political parties are concerned. It all floats from barely left of center to moderately right. Again, this is the parties and not necessarily people. As far as parties are concerned, we don’t experience the real extremes in the US. For this viewpoint of “extremes”, I squarely blame Ted Turner for inventing the 24/7 news cycle which has enabled the two major parties to label the other as an extreme.

cryomancer20x6,

I guess that is part of my point. We only have two major parties and they have both tried to present themselves as polar opposites when that is not the case. ETA: The European and US ideas of left and right (especially concerning conservative vs liberal) are very, very different

cryomancer20x6,

I went to college in 2001. I, amazingly via my parents had one of the first PDA’s on the market and the school (also amazingly in retrospect) had WiFi. I e-mailed a professor a total of 2 times, and each reply was more or less “Why are you contacting me? Did I stutter?”

cryomancer20x6,

Look, I know that the Canadian Tuxedo is a look that someone might unironically go for, but that is no excuse for stapling that thing there.

cryomancer20x6,

Because in the end being a local guide winds up helping your local community directly in a number of ways.

cryomancer20x6,

Oh geez. My extremely niche (and I mean niche) community where I am the only poster ever has 60 subscribers. It’s almost horrifying.

cryomancer20x6,

I completely agree. I’ve never been inspired to actually make memes until I got involved here. Most have been crap but there were a couple of OK ones so far. Thanks for the constant quality posts!

cryomancer20x6,

What if someone does this while using VM’s? Will it go by ip or what? This needs to be asked.

cryomancer20x6,

I’ve had players try to argue that the mouth of a creature etc. is a “container.” It gets frustrating sometimes.

cryomancer20x6,

If you are going to attempt to water board them like that, I would have no issue because at that point both the enemy and encounter have been defeated.

cryomancer20x6,

It doesn’t work RAW. The spell will fail because the enemy (the entire enemey) is classified as a creature, not an object and container is a subcategory of object.

cryomancer20x6,

Nothing, not physical objects, energy, or other spell effects, can pass through the barrier.

cryomancer20x6,

This cannot be done. The spell will fail. See my above earlier comment. The creature (the entire creature) is considered a… creature. This spell requires an object to be cast because container is a subcategory of object. Both RAW and RAI prevent this mentality entirely.

cryomancer20x6,

If you tied together 10 decanters, it would take 10 actions to cast the cantrip and fill the sphere at which point the sphere would have already blocked it off.

cryomancer20x6,

It took a minute for me to notice the screen. Very nice touch.

Games consoles are infuriatingly exempt from California's otherwise important new right to repair bill (www.pcgamer.com)

California, the biggest state in the US when it comes to both population and the sheer volume of tech companies squeezed into its borders, has just passed the country's most extreme right to repair bill in the US (via Ars Technica). It's the third state to pass such a bill, but goes further than either Minnesota or New York in...

cryomancer20x6,

I wonder where the Steam Deck falls since it can be used as a general computer, but the primary intended use is to play games.
