i used to have the cheap black & white brother printer with the toner that lasts forever which was perfect for what i used it for: printing thirty of something for a playtest or a class exercise. worked without a hitch

a while ago i upgraded to a color brother printer / scanner and it's been nothing but paper jams and misprints ever since

    from the times' latest pro-israel propaganda piece. as a teacher who does 4'33" in my classroom every quarter, this is truly the weakest shit i've ever read.

    john cage was all about "non-intentional" music, sound that is not set into motion by the composer, and 4'33" asks us to listen to the sounds around us with the same care as we would listen to a concerto. the sounds of students protesting injustice on your campus are absolutely the sound and texture of the moment, you utter fraud

    L0ST K1NGD0M is a game for 1-30 players about exploring a glitching, abandoned MMO. a hack of gregor vuga's A Singular Quest, it tells the story of one streamer in their attempts to appease their judgemental audience (and their sponsor!) as they seek out someone in a haunted digital world. plays well in small groups or with entire roomfuls - i've played it with whole classes.

    my review of Call of the Sea: a fun throwback to 90s adventure games, where instead of relying on artfully designed environments or expecting players to cleverly intuit what might be going on, the non-stop chatter of a voice actor explains everything the player should be noticing or caring about at any given time (usually an Ancient Symbol that needs to be fit into some sort of combination lock)
