yesterday i turned in a story on the recent "jellyfish" ufo shared by a major ufo influencer. it can be hard to cover conspiracy theory type stuff because people are very, very, very parasocial with the players in these cottage industries, by design and manipulation in my opinion. with conspiracies that don't just turn out to be, you know, racism or antisemitism or queerphobia (not many overall), i wish the people who follow them would pay attention to who's making money from their attention

i was listening to WFMT #chicago and they said the final score of the bulls game was 137 or something and that seemed high. i haven't really paid attention since the jordan V shoes came out, but i looked it up and the avg score in the NBA in 2023 is close to 120 while when those shoes came out, the avg was only 80.
