I don’t know where my number got sold in a list but I get like 2 calls a day and they are trying to sell me crypto. Thick indian accent guy calling from a singapore number: “Good Afternoon Sir I’m (American common name) and I want to talk to you about great investment opportunities. Have you ever heard of Bitcoin?” and I’m like dude I used to mine bitcoin when it was like 1usd and deleted my wallet knowing it worth nothing and is a waste of time don’t tell me what a good investment is.
The problem with inaccuracies on a channel like this is they are basically purchase influencers. One of their wrong graph shown some GPU was 3 times faster than other while it was around 15% faster only in reality. They kept selling the trust me bro attitude on every media and it turned out you cannot really trust them. With big power comes big responsibility.
Poverty hardly justifies crime. It is a cause not a justification. They are still poachers doing illegal hunting for protected animal on protected land. Also poaching is rather lucrative, even if the government raises income 200% poaching will still stand out.
There is a broad spectrum of crimes, from stealing an apple to mass murder other people. When you decide to steal food from the supermarket to feed your family it is justified. Hunting… I don’t know… deer or hogs is justified so they can feed their family. But picking a very lucrative business and say you are doing it coz of poverty is kinda fucked. Just for clarity: I’m not agreeing with gunning these people down.
They can choose to hunt deer or I don’t know monkey to feed their family or even steal food. All justified. Poaching is extremely lucrative. Its like saying I’m robbing my sixth bank because I’m poor. They are not eating the rhino. I’m not OK with gunning these people but it is a shit act even if you are poor
This is all relative. Their paychecks are nothing compared to what people have in the west, they are not eating lobster. Its like you get 1 usd a day for manual labor or 100 usd for a single rhino shot. So the difference is multiple fold. They know what are they getting into. It’s like someone asks you to sell coke. You know you will get easy money and you know the risks as well.
I remember these kids they were trying to be crypto bros and discussing crypto that time when all crypto was going up. There was literally no wrong bet, you bought something from the top50 it was going up. They were great meme material later. Hope their parents money they invested is still worthwile.
Its always a debate which CEO has the word to stop a company. Let’s say do you think if he really wanted to Satya Nadella could just stop Microsoft? I do believe he could not. On the other hand I do believe Elon could stop Tesla even though he is only ~21% into the company.
